IMAGES PROVE ANGE’S PHILOSOPHY

ONE image encapsulated Celtic’s relentless approach to the derby at Parkhead yesterday.

The celebrations at a rocking stadium were already in full swing and the points were in the bag with the champions comfortably three goals to the good following a double strike from Liel Abada and a thing of beauty conjured up by Portuguese sorcerer Filipe Jota.

As a contest, it was just about done and dusted before referee Nick Walsh had put the shell-shocked visitors out of their misery with the half-time whistle.

In the 78th minute, the Ibrox men were preparing to take a goal-kick after Josip Juranovic had blazed a drive over the bar.

James Tavernier is about the roll the ball to his goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin to get a move in motion.

THE CLOCK IS TICKING…James Tavernier rolls the ball to Jon McLaughlin with David Turnbull and Giorgos Giakoumakis lurking on the edge of the penalty box.

OOPS…David Turnbull snaps onto the misplaced pass from Jon McLaughlin with Giorgos Giakoumakis already in an advanced position to put pressure on the keeper.

Images show David Turnbull and Giorgos Giakoumakis on the edge of the penalty box. By the time the netminder has seen his misplaced pass cut out by the midfielder and the ball in his net for the fourth goal, there are FOUR Hoops players around the area.

Turnbull and Giakoumakis are joined by skipper Callum McGregor and Daizen Maeda with the champions proving conclusively their competitive, ruthless approach under Ange Postecoglou.

THAT’S MY BHOY…skipper Callum McGregor congratulates David Turnbull.

With 12 minutes to go, the players could have retreated into defence to see out the game. They might even have seen it a clever ploy to conserve some energy before a testing Champions League encounter against holders Real Madrid on Tuesday night.

Instead, though, they were pushing up the pitch looking for another goal.

Big Ange is right.

We. Never. Stop.
