  1. sixtaeseven - Gardez la Foi on

    No leader on the park.

Will be lucky to get in at half time still level.

Armstrong needs to get a grip and Jo Hansen needs to find last seasons form quick, cos Broonie will be out for 2 months minimum !!!

  2. Most away grounds we play in seem half empty.

The league needs to look at its ticketing policy?

  3. Did the whistle just blow bang on 45mins? Not one stoppage or goal scored? Unless he’s saving it all up for full time??

  4. A good start and then it has been all ICT.

We are unable to keep the ball against ICT.

    Let that sink in.

So much for the we’ll be ok domestically brigade.

  5. eddieinkirkmichael on

Inverness making a game of it, standard fair for the conditions. McGregor took his goal well but really not to much else.

Expect a hard second half though as it’s Yogi in charge I don’t think they will be overly physical.

  6. No authority.

    no energy.

    no clue.

Half the team are phoning it in and the other hslf are in the huff.

SA — just what is the script?

  7. No wonder Stokes is upset. How on earth the manager persists with out of form players like Armstrong and Johansen is beyond me. McGregor doing the same as in the Ajax….scores an early goal then disappears out the game. The manager seems more preoccupied with retaining possession rather than a system which has an end product.

  8. Armstrong the new whipping boy.

Let’s not look at a system that’s unfathomable and suits no one apparently.

Two centre mids playing wide. Two holding mids who are incapable of making a forward pass or moving the ball at pace.

A lone striker with zero service.

But let’s just blame a guy not playing his natural position.

  9. Joe Filippis Haircut on

There is no confidence in this Celtic side at the moment Ronny needs to settle them down at half-time if it were me I would hook Armstrong the Bhoy appears to have lost form completely. H.H.

  10. Yep; if we don’t up our game, we will be lucky to get a draw. Allan on – hopefully, for Armstrong,

  11. Celticrollercoaster supporting Shay, our bhoy wonder along the way on

Well after a quick goal, that has been a very disappointing first half. Inverness is a very difficult ground to play at, but c’mon Celtic show that you are interested here!

  12. Worrying display. ICT showing much more bite and desire. Armstrong the weakest link but indeed there are plenty of others that just appear to be going through the motions. Looking at the bench, I can’t see any obvious warrior, which is what we need.

  13. glendalystonsils on

We are struggling to counter ICT’s pressing. Need to move the ball quicker. Not a day or a pitch to try walking the ball into the net at a snails pace.

  14. Although Armstrong lost the ball, the pass from Johanson was thoughtless and careless.

About the midfield. We would like one today.

    Pansy stuff from us.

  15. A par for the course for this season performance. Too slow, too predictable. The one time we broke at pace we score. Player being played out of position to suit a system rather than playing the correct system to get the best out of the players available. Massive improvement needed in second half.

  16. I doubt any of the 3 signings from Dundee Utd are going to make it.

An occasional performance is not good enough!

What we are seeing from Armstrong today is what we see regularly.

He doesn’t like the physical side of the game.

  17. Fitter, faster, better, resulting in high tempo, high pressing, free flowing, forward passing, one touch football. My erse.

  18. Nothing to do with “out of position”. Can*t cross a dead ball. Can*t pass gas today and giving the ball away. What*s to like. Needs hooked!

  19. eddieinkirkmichael on

A bit surprised at so many writing us off when it’s 1-1, 45 mins to go I’ll reserve judgement till the finale whisle

  20. Not a great performance with a lack of width and of energy. Good ball from Johanson to set up the goal and Rogic’s run made the space. We’ve created nothing else though.

Poor goal to give away – losing the ball in midfield and then weak defence. Watch Boyata ambling back too when he should be breaking his neck to get behind the keeper.

Much more needed in the second half bhoys.

  21. Never seen a good game in Inverness- pitch and conditions are always poor.

We have lost here under MON, WGS, and NFL using systems that were fathomable and unfathomable.

It is still just half time in this match- maybe we won’t have a defeat to celebrate.

45 minutes for the players to step up.

  22. glendalystonsils on

Armstrong is a good player who is playing poorly at the moment and it looks to be a matter of confidence.

His last act of the first half was to mishit a 5 yard return pass to Johansen.

  23. Armstrong has a laziness about him, looks lazy, plays lazy. Has no urgency about him, needs dropped but is another one of RD’s favourites

  24. See all this having a go at fans complaining about how bad we are, they are right, we are spineless and can’t even do the basics we have no divine right to win every game but surely a professional footballer should be able to do the basics.

We are in a bad spot full stop and the more people start to see it and stop defending this crap the better we will get on as a club.

Poor poor poor. No doubt i will be a hun now for being honest. No excuses anymore we are poor, 1 up top flat in the middle and brittle at the back. crap,
