JAMES FORREST fired a hat-trick into the Hibs net in Celtic’s 6-1 romp at Parkhead on October 15 2022 to become a ton-up Bhoy.
The evergreen winger, making his 451st first-team appearance, joined the exclusive Celtic Ton-Up Club following his devastating display in the art of finishing.
Forrest became the 30th player in Parkhead history to hit 100 goals to shoot his way into the Hoops’ Haul of Fame alongside the legendary Jimmy McGrory, with the extraordinary total of 468 strikes, Henrik Larsson and Lisbon Lions Bobby Lennox, Stevie Chalmers and John Hughes.

The 32-year-old Scotland international smiled afterwards and admitted: “I’m buzzing.
“It’s incredible and I just want to keep working hard and score more goals. It’s a great achievement and a great feeling.”
And Forrest has been as good as his word with a goal in the 3-0 victory over Ross County in Dingwall on November 4 last year marking his FIFTEENTH successive season on the scoresheet.
Remarkably, 35 of the strikes have turned out to be matchwinners.
Forrest has netted in every campaign since he made a goalscoring debut appearance in a 4-0 win over Motherwell at Parkhead on May 1 2010.
He also thumped one into the St Johnstone net in a 3-1 win at Perth last month and you just now there are more celebrations to follow.
