Nine points after three games. How many did we have after three last season? How many games did we need to get/surpass nine?

A game of two overhead kicks!
Sublime performance from the K.O. Celtic surpassed previous victories in the same arena in a show of strength where SKY patch goal difference overnight for the third game in succession. Stopping the team that never stops is proving difficult and Kilmarnock facing Jota (Dick Turpin’s gift to Celtic) , will have more like them.
Taylor, Maeda, Kyogo linked like Lennoxtown and the inverted role suits Taylor and Juranovic to a tee, and supports a midfield that can rest in the 90 minutes. A packed stand in great voice awaited the second half deluge that rarely occurs but for two more goals of quality, and a well deserved first for escaped goat Starfelt.
The bench are always keener to impress and again today they lay in wait to give the game the score line that would make Big Yogi proud, and as Jinky said to Walter McCrae after his part in a 5-0
Lots of positives today. 5 really good/ well worked goals, good chances created.
We weren’t quite at our best for 15 or so minutes in each half.
Best to fix the roof while the sun shines as they say. Hard to judge given the heat and the surface but there was some slackness in our passing at times.
The major pluses for me today is just how dangerous we look every time we get the ball forward. That and scoring more than the zombies. 3 points are always the main thing but bettering their result as often as possible is a nice addition and a psychological boost.
One major issue to deal with to end – if players don’t have the guts to knee slide in celebration on a dry plastic surface, then they shouldn’t do it on a slick watered grass surface. Big softies.

According to bigot Boyd , all 5 goals were poor defending . That being the case therefore, a fair result would have been 0-0.
I think we should offer to dock ourselves 2 points , in the interest of fairness and sporting integrity .
And what a happy bunch you should be, I’m old enough and lucky enough
to have watched the Lions, big Caesar’s team, the blessed Martin’s, and
yes Brendan’s team, but I really see something special happening at our
club, maybe it’s just an old Celts imagination, but I sense further glory
ahead for these bhoys.
As for the killie kickers ? my god! who on earth decided, Power, Donnelly???
and that other little hacker in midfield Macsomething were good enough
for professional football, I despair.
Wee rant over, now for a rewatch, oh ! and a large rid biddy 🍷

Postecoglou praises goals, Starfelt and attitude
FT: Kilmarnock 0-5 Celtic
Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou tells BBC Scotland: [On the surface] “I still think it affects the game but it’s about your mindset. We knew that was one of our challenges today, along with it being a hot day to try and play the football we want to. The boys’ attitude was first rate.
“It was a great start for us. Last week we scored late and we said we want to wear teams down. That doesn’t discount the fact we want to start strong and put teams away early. All our goals were really good goals today.
[On Carl Starfelt] “He’s worked really hard in rehab to get himself back in the frame. In all our games so far, the subs have made a massive impact and that’s something we need to keep up. We’ve got the luxury of one game a week at the moment but pretty soon that won’t be the case and we need more than XI players to be ready to go.
“I’m just holding back the tide at the moment. Once the games start, they’ll all play. If we want to maintain our intensity and drive, we’re going to need all the boys ready to go.”

Re Jota shooting and not giving Maeda the ball
Interesting quote from Guardiola last night when Foden shot & missed instead of squaring to Haaland to tap in
“Foden and rest need to know that now Haaland will ALWAYS be there for that ball”
One for Celtic attackers to mind..
Did Starfelt score with his left foot?!

Anne Heche `supposedly` died in a car crash?
She tries to jump off the stretcher but gets pushed back ddon and is rushed into the ambulance!
Brilliant goals,no matter what any Hun says, and Miss Barbour looking a treat.Good viewing.

What is controversial about that. Celtic were a class apart.
But the Kilmarnock defence was poor and their goalkeeper Sam Walker was hopeless.
And to reiterate their manager was clueless.
We can only play who is in front of us and play professionally , but that pitch should be nowhere near professional football.

Thank you, Celtic.
Couldn’t watch the game but have now seen the goals. I would have been happy with 1 on that pitch. 5!!!

Here HotSmoked do you think we will make the top6?
Seem to recall such nonsense been given credence on here this time last year,by some who wouldn’t know parkhead from pimlico :-)

Oh and another thing. Ange looked professional. He looked and acted like a Celtic manager.
Mcinnes looked as he was just back from the beach in Ayr.
Look professional, act professional and play professional.
HH, the professional journey continues.

No sponsor as they are looking for around 10 million per season with their new big boys playground status. No takers yet.
They do have a very nice grass pitch, however.

Thanks.
Enjoyable read back after full time of blog in full.
Very professional today.
Worked our system. Used our quality.
Ange clearly using first 15 minutes of second half for a live “away in Europe” drill.
Bring pressure on to Joe and the boys, mix it up with some long clearances and chasing ball.
Tactic that draws the sting of the opposition while we are at it, giving them absolutely no chance of a comeback (ref: 3-0 Sevco)
Then empty the bench with genuine quality from 60 minutes.
Great goals.
Couple of minor downsides for me
Jenz injury.
Referee. Definitely not the worst to be fair … but the threshold for cautioning a Celtic player is clearly lower than for the opposition.
(compare Lafferty vs McGregor)
This rubbish team, rubbish defenders, rubbish keeper, were one down with 10 minutes to play last week at Ibrox.
