Nice to come on the blog and see folk talking about our team. Maybe the solution to what ails this place is to just come on on game day.
Good performance all round. Mostly.
CB’s too slow to move the ball as they meander up to the half way line. All that changed when Mooy came on. He came deep, got the ball and moved it. Good to see.
Apart from that, I thought that this was a strong performance.
I’d go as far as to say that I thought that the ref had a good game. Booked those who needed booked, and showed a bit of consistency. Far from perfect, but…
That’s it from me.

Really pisses me off when nomarks like Kris Boyd look at a long distance goal in slow motion and decides the goalkeeper should have saved it. When you look at Jota’s goal in real time, the ball travels at great speed with power and all a keeper can do is put his hands out and hope he makes a full connection.
The goalkeeper doesn’t see the ball in slow motion.
Forest v Hammers. I’d take us to beat any of these two.

Backtobasics glass half full – didn’t think of the start of the second half performance that way. Interesting.
Definitely when we made the three subs we got right back on top. Being able to bring on Abada and Giako is huge for us. Thinking back to when we were relying on an under par Edoaurd and had Ajeti on the bench if he wasn’t injured – we’ve come a long way in a year or so.
I think we’ll score alot of goals late in games for that reason.

On this day 13th August 1911, police baton charged a crowd of 85,000 people, who had gathered to hear Tom Mann speak during the Liverpool general transport strike. This became known as ‘Bloody Sunday.’ Churchill then sent troops into the city and positioned gunboats on the Mersey
St Stivs – interesting stuff. I believe Dundee had the biggest per capita Irish born population in Britain at one point.

Is having a synthetic heid a pre-requisite for getting onto Sky panels. McFadden and Boyd with their hairpieces at our game and big Souness with his classic toupee doing the EPL stuff today. However, not for a second am I denigrating such barnet accessories as I’m sure they bring pleasure to millions !
In the interests of balance , Eilidh Barbour’s hair looking great.
Big Giako had a few really nice touches and lay offs when he came on. He has a brilliant attitude too.
Taylor continues to improve.
Jota is incredible. He’s the real deal.
Fabulous moment in the first half when kyogo played a wonderful pass to Jota.
Lots of great stuff to enjoy today. And we are still improving.

Lovely stuff today. We seem to have got over our worries with plastic pitches and the defence looked untroubled by the hammer throwers and set pieces.
A quiet game for the midfield, largely down to more long balls, everything going down the wings, the big spaces that allowed Jenz to walk the ball to the edge of the area and the incredible effectiveness of Greg Taylor who has become our go to man in midfield.
Interesting to see Mooy slipping into Calmacs position when he came on and calmac moving out in a wider left position. A midfield of Mooy, Calmac and O’Riley would be better suited to games where we have less possession in the opposition half. I like the look of Mooy, moves the ball calmly and quickly.
Motm James Forrest’s new beard – just the right side of seventies weirdo’s beard.

Great result on a difficult pitch.
Great interview by Jota post match.
No arrogance, keen to give credit to Greg Taylor, who was also very modest in his comments.
Indicative of a great team spirit.

It seems that Celtic never score good goals according to pundit.
Always seems to be poor defending or goalkeeping mistakes that allow us to score
From my point of view we played well mixed it up a bit.
Thought ref was poking but could have gone back to caution a couple of lillie players after playing advantage
Both Celtic bookings were spòft to say the least
My one big regret was that no one gave big laughatme a serious dunt

WeeRoch,
This nonsense has been going on since Sky started about goals.More concerned by possible mistakes ,as they call them, than the goals everything put under a microscope. Its a nonsense.
Big Sutton at it yesterday about Lenz, saying he blundered when giving away a free kick last week.He was last man,and the guy beat him with skill. How is it a mistake to foul him?.

That was some performance,as some say a potent force going forward.
I was worried going to Cement Park and its rugby challenges getting away with a fit squad for next week was vital.seeing Jens go off makes me nervy.
We were sharp at goal 1 kyogo ,wee Taylor,Merited mom imo, shows he’s been watching Maestro videos with the ball so reminiscent of one of Paul’s.passes that left that our forwards could only score
As Jota shaped for goal 2, you knew didn’t you?,to coin the old mountain saying ‘direction of travel’ :-)) superb strike and at this rate its going to be some goal of season competition 😇
Well done Jens on improvising on the cement with an overhead kick for goal 3.you looked well happy, settling in well and stepping out well.hope the injury sustained is not to serious
Well done big Carl Starfelt, getting a goal for the hoops
Wonderful and the joy at Goal 4 for him and his team mates,it was palpable.great to see.
Big Gia for Goal 5 with an overhead kick, total pro attitude on coming on and working for the team,I would have had you starting but there is a guy far better at the job than me.
Matt o Riley is one of those players who makes it look as tho he has time, plenty of it.
Good shift Celtic.
