  1. BOBBY MURDOCH'S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS on

Not great, but really a pre-season friendly in all but name.

So an improvement on last year!

Delighted for Cal-Mac. Hope he scores many more for us.

  2. Job done.

Clean sheet. Away win. No injuries. Confidence for the young Bhoy.

Plenty to work on. Some decent stuff to work with.

Hats off to you Kojo ref mcgregor. And/but we do miss Broonie!

  3. Not a great performance. Excellent goal from young McGregor. It will be interesting to see how the new manager changes the line-up and the style as we progress through the season. There was no way he could do anything before this game. Good start to the season

Good start and early season form will improve. Still weird watching the new style, We could do with wingers though, more joy with long passing than the short stuff as they packed the MF. Great Goal from the young Bhoy.

    Hail Hail

  5. Take 1-0

Should’ve been 3 or 4 easily despite average performance but not too bad for first game

However I have to say, even though it was first game back I was very disappointed by Johanson, but pass marks to rest

    Did hit woodwork 3 times

    Kris and Leigh good

Derk was excellent when he came on

  6. Early days for Ronny….

Look forward to him making his own history….

    I believe he will.

    Changes are on the horizon…

    Congratulations Calum!!

  7. Just another tim on

Any 1-0 win away from home in Europe is a good result. As for the performance. Good possession & controlled the match for the majority. As ever though our finishing let us down at times while a couple of parked buses and a team hell bent on defending stifled us.

We are still a work in progress.

Who’s the bloke talking sense on sportscene ? How’d he sneak in ? Bet he thinks Rangers are dead !!!! He’ll not be back

  9. Celtic’s unbeaten run continues as Ronny Deila secures his first win in the Champion’s League, in a match that the Scottish Champions could have won 4 nil.

    Onwards and Upfjords Celtic!

Alan turned up at the end there wondering who was looking him

  11. I am Neil Lennon e El Juarez Bravo on

Satisfied with that. Always in control and but for the woodwork, some unfortunate rebounds and some rusty close-season finishing, we’d have won by 4 or 5. I expect a more comfortable second leg.

  12. It was one going on 6 or 7. Totally dominated game, first 15 minutes were OK then we lost our way and were flat and static up to the interval. Second half thought we were really good in every department apart from our finishing. Absolutely delighted that it was McGregor who got the goal. That guy will feel 10ft tall after that, great boost for the kid. I am very interested in getting Manager’s assessment of game.

  13. Wee bit more sharpness and we could have had a few more.

Really desperate defending from the Icelanders kept score down.

I must admit I was thinking that CM would be substituted instead of LG.

I guess that’s why I sitting on my couch and Ronny is having cod and chips.

  14. Thanks for updates everyone. Wasn’t sure if “CM shot blocked” referred to Charlie or Calum though.

Would have been funny to see “CM shot from 30 yards saved by keeper but CM taps in rebound from 3 yards”

Seriously I think this dude Michael Stewart lurks on here – talking loads of sense seems knowledgable and keen to see a Scottish team do well

As I said earlier he’ll not be back !!!!

  16. Am not exactly popping the champagne corks but…………… we won and we’re off and running. Get the home (sic) tie out the way and onto CLQ Round 2.

Bound to get; fitter, quicker, more lethal in front of goal.

  17. The oor Wullie commentator was embarrassing, every cliche in the book ,abley supported by Dingus waffling on as if was your senile old uncle.

    Dreadful
