Not like you to use the vernacular. However a positive must be playing to the very end.

We should apply for a lottery grant in the name of livi to put in a proper grass pitch

Awaw. Ibrox Noise throw Stevie G under the bus, he has to go they say. Please stay I say👍👏

  3. Hot smoked – lol!

Morelos gives it away. Ball rattled off Kent. Tavernier let’s not run past him. Goldson gives it away. Goal

    A real team effort

Hello again all you young rebels.

All the whining all the moaning about that game will be forgotten about

when we lift our nine in a row trophy.

Think about that, as a Celtic fan, nine in a row, against all the bigoted

    establishment could throw at us.

How lucky am i? i’ve lived though two of them, and yes in between times

i used to think i’d never see the bhoys win a game never mind a title.

So savour every moment bhoys and ghirls, Neil will fix the problems as

we go on relentlesly towards the ten.

Hurtin hun huntin now so aff oot.

  5. Corkie,

Well said my good Mhan. No devine right to win, played poorly tonight, but the bhoys never gave up. A wee bit of luck and we go in at HT 2-1 up, different game.

It’s a league! Different games at different times bring different results. Just as the Sevconians. We dropped points tonight but extended our lead – that;s what happens sometimes in a league.

Hard watching, but now happily looking forward to my next visit to Paradise on Saturday where, if we play our A-games, we will go 16 POINTS ahead of our nearest challengers, the day before they head up the A9 to Dingwall. Bet they are looking forward to THAT one!

Any SPL manager with half a brain cell will sign a big physical striker.

Assuming they handle Cosgrove, either Doige or the lump who plays for Hearts await in the final.

  7. Again Neil Lennon picks the wrong team. Griffiths should be starting to allow Edouard a bit of freedom up front. When we went behind Griffiths should have been brought on straight away instead of waiting until 15 minutes from time. He made the same mistake against Copenhagen. That is the worry. He doesn’t seem to learn.

You are welcome. Many of your posts have done the same for me :-)

Obviously, we are a better side than Livi but they are still a group of commited, professional footballers and, as such, we have to work hard to beat them. Consider also that they were well rested before this game whereas we had two tough games to contend with. Further consider the surface of this pitch, their agricultural tackles,Willie as ref and the number of games we have played.

In spite of all that, we won a point and our nearest rivals did not. Assessment of individuals would be more accurate when made over a season rather than afte a poor performance.

Hail ! Hail ! and good night from someone who now feels a little more relaxed about winning the title.

  9. The 800 celtic fans at castle greyskull on sunday should have a minutes applause for stevie gerrard in the 8th minute on sunday.

    That would be funny

  10. Players not getting my vote tonight.

Forster, Julienne, Broony, Taylor, Elyounoussi. Contributing nothing or less.

Picking three from the rest will be difficult.

MACJAY1 FOR NEIL LENNON ha ha , yes harrowing was the correct adjective. We will take it alright. I’ve been very cautious but I do now think that’s 9IAR right there tonight. We have hit a wee sticky patch over the last 3 games, but in fairness we have had a shed load of games since mid-Jan until now. However, these last 3 games does tell us a lot more information than if we had smashed it. Namely, that Taylo is only an adequate second-stringer but not only and that we have not solved the LB or LWB position. By contrast, Frimpong looks like he has world-class potential; Rogic decent at SPFL level but no further; Elyounousi is a decent player but in no way does he look like £9million worth of talent. Therefore, for 10IAR we need 1 CB, a LB, and maybe two wingers. Possibly maybe just sign Rhodes and Dykes upfront.

    ====================================================================

Hate to count my chickens . The bookies are seldom wrong . Interesting to see the odds. Huge confidence boost from the repeated hun failures rather than our ability which , I feel , was seriously called into question tonight .

Big Julienne. Great player but there`s a vulnerability there. Particularly after a reversal. Confidence ?

    Maybe defensive mid . ?

Must be provided with a no nonsense neighbour of the Roy Keane mould.

Taylor needs to mature. Loan .

Wee Frimpo . Agreed. Needs protection from the SPL. hamaneggers .

Rogic. Disagree. But the man for a given situation , as he proved to be tonight .

Dykes . Yes. Could do a job in the SPL.

All in all , a most satisfactory evening . :-)

    Hail Hail

  13. Anyhoo, fact is we gained a point tonight in the league race. Not our best performance, but who cares?

Plastic pitches………we never play well on them and not suited to our style. Brings us down to opposition level, so that’s the dynamics of those surfaces.

  17. As happy with that point in the end as I was on Sunday. Very tough venue against a well organised, well rested team. Celtic showed great heart and I’m delighted to get a wee bit of luck from results elsewhere. As someone posted 25/27 in the league since the new year, two wins at Hampden from yet another trophy, and a very healthy lead in the league. I’m happy to forgive one slip from domestic perfection when all’s said and done.

  18. Opinion? It was a fact, I understand they are strangers to you, so cant be too surprised.

  22. BIG G on 4TH MARCH 2020 9:45 PM

Absolutely! If this was Twitter I’d give you a like!

Some folk need a reality check with the ridiculous comments. We were fairly gash tonight and dropped points on a ground we haven’t won on for 14 years, YET extended our lead. I’m feckin ecstatic!

  23. OK here’s a wee selection from what’s on offer on Fascist Fascist.

Not point in getting rid of Gerrard and letting the same incompetents who employed Warburton, Caixinha and Murty choose another failure, root and branch job required I’m afraid.

It isnt broken. This Rangers team have kicked it to death.

I have my sons Autism assessment tomorrow and right now im on the verge of kicking off if the doctor says anything i dont like.

I’m loathe to criticise any Rangers player but Brandon Barker just looks like a poor wee urchin from a Charles Dickens adaptation, washing bottles in a ‘blacking’ factory.

Players pulling out of fifty fifty tackles at Ibrox is unacceptable. These players have chucked it, letting the fans and manager down. No fight no pace on a night we should have closed the gap. Get some of the academy boys in to show these wasters what it takes to play in a Rangers jersey. Goldson needs dropped with Tav, Kamera and Kent. Where we go from here, I’ve no idea. Turn the clock forward to August please. If this was a boxing match the ref would have stopped it by now.

    Same shit different day.

And a wee final word ………..

That has to be it for Gerrard no manager can survive losing to the two bottom of the league teams in less than a week.

Ok away for a shower after that. Early grandweans run in the morn.

    Ave Ave

  24. I can understand Lenny saying we played well.He did mention the two mistakes for their goals.Considering more than a few of the players would be carrying knocks, and still recovering from ploughing through a Turnip field on Sunday,we battered Livi for the last 30 minutes, when you would have expected,we would tire.

I am very happy.St Mirren at home on Saturday, then a lovely 8 days without a game, before the scum game.

  25. Post 1690 on Follow Follow tonight.

I’m a utterly lost for words now, every game I think to myself this is it we are gonna turn it around and to be fair on me if u had to pick a team to turn it around it would be bottom of the league Hamilton at Ibrox !

  26. Hard fought point

    Most frustrating watch all year.

However lets just say he has some credit in the bank with me.

Also I detected from his post match that he was not too impressed himself.

This summer should be very interesting. With best will in the World I do expect 1 big name to move on, maybe ON? I also suspect a few players sent on loan and my suggestions are: Taylor, Boli, one of Klimala/Bayo, Shved, Soro. Id then expect 2 or 3 youth players to be promoted. But assuming Eddy signs up for 1 more year then I think this reduces the complexity of the next transfer window, but I’d like to see Rhodes and Dykes signed to give Eddy more experience competition. A CB is a certainty as is a proper LB and another left-winger since Elyounousi doesn’t cut it for me. I also like the lad Alan Campbell from Motherwell, an Kennedy at Aberdeen is worth keeping tabs on plus Turnbull might still work out.
