Another ganging up gang on the loose…you won’t manage to bully Macjay but you may well piss him off enough to make him call it quits and that would be a shame!

    Like McGregor?

    Calum or a Connor? 😁

  4. lets all do the huddle on

Let’s alldothuddle – you don’t do stats do you!

    as strachan said

    stats are like mini skirts

    they show a lot

but hide the most important thing 😁

  5. “ I made a mistake. Well , so what ?”

So why did it take so long to admit it? That is the first time you have made such an admission.

Dearie me, if you had done so much earlier the good people would have seen someone make a mistake, have that pointed out, agree, apologies(not quite there yet though eh!) and we could all have moved on, but no, you sling insult and deflect. We could all have moved on quickly.

Naive, perhaps I am, but I can have a look at my frailties, admit them and learn.

I simply held up a mirror and you seemed not to like that.

    Guys, I’m with CorkCelt.

    Let it go.

    We’re all Celtic supporters.

What end of the boiled egg you crack open isn’t worth going to war over.

13 ahead, 9 to go. Happy days.

    Good night and hail hail

    Well. Thank you .

    Call it quits ?

    Not a chance.

  8. A couple of hours after the game and I’m feeling mellow.

We should give credit to Livingston.

Their home form is very good and their defence at home is miserly.

That we only scored twice is down to desperate defending, dubious refereeing and some less than decisive finishing.

Of 13 shots at goal only 7 were on target.

The two goals we conceded were easily preventable and down to player lapses.

And still we managed to turn a banana shin into a point through determination and sheer refusal to accept a loss.

That comes from the manager’s relentless will to win which he passes on to his squad.

    Glass half FULL CSC.

The mistake was utterly irrelevant .

    The insult demanded a response.

Don’t just lurk, post. Many opinions on here, some get heated, some get a touch nasty but what has made this a good place over the last 15 yrs or so is the Celtic chat and I still think it is second to none.

HH brother. Dontas be a stranger.

I’ve been a CQN’er for a long time ( since the Kano and Pablo days). Don’t mind the debates but the venom that comes out of some of our supporters disgusts me at times. I was at the game last Thursday night and saw that scarf being thrown on to the pitch after the final whistle. That was a disgrace.

  12. I thought Forrest was one of our better players tonight. Especially when he switched wings.

It was his pass to Eddie that led to the equaliser.

Not sure what more he could do in this game.

    ———————————————————————————————

No bullying from me, simply pointed out a fact. I find it difficult to let that go, perhaps a fault of mine, but no bullying.

Incorrect, non factual statement piss me off, a weakness I know. As for the couple of posters who agreed, they simply saw the same and wouldn’t accept falsehood.

  14. Insult? you went on to prove my assumption, which was based on your history.

And it was an assumption, not an insult, in this exchange I still haven’t lowered to invective.

    Which you have, repeatedly.

  15. Neil Lennon is the only person on the planet who could have gotten the response from the players after BR left. HE LOVES OUR CLUB and we will secure 9IAR because of him. He got rid of the 5-0 thrashings in Europe and gets the team up the pitch quicker while reducing defensive carelessness. I said reduce , not eradicate.

I hope next season we will see his true team – dominant central defender, creative midfielder or winger and another striker.

    I made a factual error .

    That is not a lie.

  17. St Stivs, too late.

But that is my last word.

Apologies to the blog in general, sometimes a point has to be drilled into.

I’ve done it before, and don’t promise not to do it again, hopefully on a football point next time.

  18. Macjay, I seem to keep being dragged back in here, simply as you are inaccurate.

Please quote where I mention “Lie”

I simply said there was a factual error, I did not mention “lie”

Again, deflection, do you know Jim Traynor?

  19. i know its awful cliquey, celtic supporters in scotland and ireland and england and wales and europe, meeting in glasgow every few weeks,

Brownie points with your sycophantic backslapping pals.

In any case , you seriously feel that this is not insulting ?

    No invective here then ?

” As usual taking a fact and twisting it, ………………..WGS was talking about Odsonne. ”

So what WAS the point which had to be drilled into ?

I misheard what WGS said .

    Wow . A hanging offence.

No , pal. An opportunity for an insult.

    You said ” falsehood “.

A falsehood is a lie . An intention to mislead.

I apparently made a factual error. No intention to mislead.

Now. Do you understand the difference. ?

  23. macjay1 for Neil Lennon on

    Well.

Now to enjoy the glow of another point gained in our pursuit of the ninth .

    `S good to be a Tim .

  24. The Blogger etc

On reflection you will agree that was a silly post.

I was there for the original 9 in a row and several of them hinged on away draws at the end of the season.

  25. You admitted twisting a fact, that is a falsehood.

    This is getting boring.

    Try harder, or stop.

  26. I cannot believe the criticism of James Forrest tonight. To me, he was one of our best players. He started off well, then did not see much of the ball and then when moved to the left, was our main man putting in great crosses. He is definitely in my vote for best player.

    HH

  27. I was out at my Wednesday evening class and watched the fulll game when I got back and have just finished reading the blog comments.

I know this was a somewhat tense seson with 9iar on the line but I would have thought there might be some relaxation in the OTT criticism faced by Neil Lennon and our players by now.

But no, another match day blog, populated by rare visitors, who have never said a positive word about the team on the verge of 9iar and a possible Quadruple Treble.

There have been very few occasions where we have dropped domestic points this year but this is just one of those games that will not live long in the memory when the celebrations start in April and May.

How many of those who have been vociferous about every dropped point, will be here then to share our joy.

Knock yourself out in chasing your Top Ten Scapegoats of the Match and your desire to discuss transfer windows at all times.

The adults at Celtic Park will go on doing the hard work that earns us titles and trophies.

And I thank each and every one of them for that.

    Goodnight!
