More injuries and set-piece woes for Spartak

1051

Just as Celtic’s injury problems appear to be lifting Spartak Moscow’s are getting more acute each passing game.  Their cult-hero goalkeeper, Andriy Dykan, was substituted after picking up an injury in yesterday’s win against 10-man Amkar Perm and is unlikely to face Celtic.  Already injured, Pareja, Welliton, Parshivlyuk, Jurado and Romulo, never made the squad.

The goal Spartak lost to ninth-place Amkar, is worthy of note.  It was the eighth goal they have lost to a set piece in the last 10 games.  Celtic have been particularly effective from set pieces in Europe already this season and will see an opportunity in corners and free kicks deep in opposition territory.

Tuesday is the day…..

I once got stopped driving home from the pub by our old feind bill. The officer said to me, if you perform this test, the bag will tell us if you’re drunk. I shaid, hic, I’;ve a perfuctly guid bag that will tell me I’m drunk when I get home……hic.

Have you ever read a book – Dissapeared off the face of the earth – by Jim Cairns?

    ______________________________________________________________________

Apologies for not responding sooner as I’ve had a hectic weekend. I have never read that book m8. What are your own thoughts on it?

I’ve googled it tonight and looked at a few sites and I have initial thoughts about that but I’d rather hear your own commentary before commenting.

  5. Alex Salmond getting stick big time at Ryder Cup Closing Ceremony, wtf is he doing speaking there ?

Don’t worry about that. He only does it to boost his CQN Dolph beer tab, visiting once a fortnight to “collect” the 20 pints left there for him by stood-up CQNers. To be fair though, the D staff are legends, and have given me numerous free coffees while I watched them pouring each of those 20 pints :))

  7. BB (is that a coincidence?)

If you can’t respect the rules of the blog then don’t post.

I have had the crappiest two weeks of my life and don’t feel the need to blame others or reduce the tone. My bhoy reads this blog and I don’t want to explain to him that your language is unacceptable. You should know this yourself! Others have said that this is NOT normal behaviour, so please get on track and wisen up.

    richie,

how about you dealing with your own input

rather than obfuscation, him and EDB might have had words

    thats theirs to deal with.

Now, how do you fit into the argument , did tbb choose you for special treatment,

or did you ingratiate yourself into a dispute

FFM? Dont tell me the pie whisperer has been there too (Magnus would spin in his funeral pyre). Naw naw naw, say its not true.

I thought the pie guzzler’s particular kink was in the direction of weather girls. I’d no idea he just wanted to beef every woman who ever appeared on scottish television.

He’s worth the watching, that wee fat gimp.

There is no real excuse for bad language in a forum like this IMO.

When a person is swearing they are wanting to swear, I think BOBBY was surprised I didnae like hearing sweary words me being from the underclass of Bellsmyre in Dumbarton.

As I say, the Rules are Golden when it comes to CQN because this is the most liberated forum on the planet and does not want to shackle nobody.

  24. petec:

I am still reading it (in tandem with Political Football). It is not well written but in its simplicity there might be a lot of truth. Scarey stuff if real. I’ve also bought – Who Framed Colin Wallace?, War without Honour, Big Boys Rules and Who killed Rosemary Nelson. Add those to the Kincora books and they lend some credence to some of what Jim Cairns claims.
