Completely agree. they are phenomenal up front but we are still managing to penetrate their backline.
More solid defending (and a penalty award) and we could still be in it! It’s not a terrible performance by any means!

Tonight we are playing a team who are light years ahead of us in every position.
Nothing to do with poor defending/passing.
We cannot defend against players of the caliber of Nymar, Cavani, even if our passing was better!

Anyone else feel that the referee’s positioning has been poor at times when we’ve had the ball. I think he’s forced our players to change direction or slow down a couple of times because he’s been in the way.
