McGregor has matured as a player. He looks tidy on the ball, showing good awareness and picking up smart positions. He’s clearly been working hard in training.

Fan-at-ic, In fairness it did hit his hand but he had his back to ball, couldn’t possibly have been deliberate.
Ball is kicked against ML’s arm with his back turned to it. Even Sevco widnae get a penalty for that.
Not surprised the jags fans are grumpy though……..thae strips look like they have run in the wash.
Domestic opponents very poor. Malmo won’t be worried. At least we can develop a winning mentality – something which Malmo lack.

Celtic fluid, skillful, lively, inventive and looking a class apart. More of the same in the second half and the goals will come
Celtic totally bossing this game. My only criticism is that with all our possession and control of the game we have created few clear goal scoring opportunities. VVD – superlatives have all been used. Rogic looks like a player, much more direct that Biton, imo.

Decent first half with a changed team. Some nice passing moves and a few half chances. Rogic took his goal well too.
Don’t think Thistle have had a shot n anger as yet. And there is no way that could ever be a penalty. Lustig had his back to the ball and it was played against him from about a yard away.

Totally dominant for 35 minutes, one up going on four. Thistle have come into game in last 10 minutes. I reckon their game plan was Celtic would tire as game progresses, so soak it up for first half and go at it in second. A very reasonable approach, I expect a totally different second half.,
Comfortable 1st half. Let them back in it for the last 10 minutes or so. Should be 2 or 3 so hopefully get an early goal 2nd half to kill the game.

HT Thistle 0-1 Celtic
Only 1 team in the game as Celtic dominated possession from start to finish. Thistle have no threat going forward especially with Bhoyata and Virgil in the form they are in. The first 25 mins were our best spell as we moved the ball around well but we have struggled to find a cutting edge up front. The one goal we did get was well worked down the left, a deft lay off from Griff and a very clever finish from Rogic.
Craigy has not had a save to make, but we need to find a way to finish these games off earlier when we have so much possession. A positive aspect to the game is that despite a few different faces in the line-up, we have played the same way. Would be good to see Biton step up in the second half. We are missing Broony’s drive in midfield. Hopefully Ronny makes a couple of corrections and we see some goals from the bhoys second half

Makes me mad how penalty claims and incidents against Celtic are analysed to death but never done when we are the claimants. Funny that.

Yea.. good presentation from BT Sport.. good commentary and coverage.. unbiased, fair and decent quality.
I’ve dropped BT Sport a wee email to commend them, also mentioned why I left sky.. (all of the above in the opposite)
Hope sky continue to lose decent Scottish football supporters.
