Your young jack mcginn, in scoutsoun, in 1965.
You approach Celtic, about publishing a newspaper, to connect Celtic club and the Celtic fans.
To give the Celtic view.
Jock says aye, let me win a trophy.
Two visionaries.
Jack mcginn is Celtic to the core and was the first celt for change. Not one of the families with shares. From the terrace to chairman. His contributions to Celtic are massively unrecognized.
A great Celt.

Collins should not have said that. It comes across as arrogant and disrespectful – an old rfc trademark.

Some context.
For the timternet
Celtic publishing a newspaper in 66 was greater than the start of CQN

Fritzsong,
John Collins said what most of us thought and indeed witnessed today. Honesty is not an old rfc trademark.
HH to you.

For those of you in the US, the New York derby about to start on Fox 1 – Lampard and Pirlo start.

The new York derby ? Is it a horse race ?

Trivia.
The point I was making was simple.
If Ronny fails to take us to the next round,he should resign or be fired, particularly in view of his admitted failures of last year.In addition I made a comparison to the attitude towards P.L. and his supposed bonuses.
That`s all.
You ignore my point and focus on my use of language……….semantics………ie. Trivia.
In the real world,a loss of revenue of that magnitude would not be tolerated.
Nor should it be.
That`s my point.

Soccer game – derby – two team same city – like we had today- great atmosphere!

Good win today, loved the trap pass from Griffiths and re-adjust by Rogic.
Playing well against teams who play much more competitively these days than they did in the past.
Scottish football takes a slagging due to us winning every year but back in the 80s we stuck 5 past St Mirren, Thistle etc all the time. The league is way better these days

Has it ever been explained why Craig Levein was forced to cap the Mussleburgh Ned?
4th tier Scottish League player in an international arena?
I’ll have a wee bet now on the MLS game. People can have opinions, but the football /soccer there is the best in the world for entertainment.
Goals galore the majority of games.
European, South America etc. is mind numbing mundane tripe.
Also the Yanks detest the concept of a draw, in any sport – fair play to them.
I envy the bright spark whom starts an Irish team over there – it’ll be like a licence to print money.
Television revenue will eventually demolish even the CL.

If you think playing against players who cannot get a game in English non- league teams is ‘better these days’, then obviously you must be still at school.
Hamilton, ICT, St Johnstone, Partick, Kilmarnock , Ross County and Dundee, would all be fighting relegation in the Conference Vanarama Vanaroo – none of them can muster four thousands fans and are on a par with the like of Dover Athletic, Braintree Town, Guiseley, Southport and Gateshead.
This is a pub league we play in and, if we don’t get out in the next ten years, we will also be a pub team.
The hand of God on
TBB …you made some great points regarding the strength of football in Norway compared to Scotland.I saw an article somewhere that showed that if you took the co-efficient points that Celtic had gathered off of Scotland’s total we would be ranked as 45th in Europe (or thereabouts)

Big Nan,
Surely if he knows or thinks that he will be arrested as soon as he sets foot on UK soil he will cancel his visit. I am glad we avoided Tel Aviv.
………………………..
Nice if he did. Avoid visiting that is.
