Morning Bhoys a great win yesterday the score only being one nil was down to there good luck and the referee cheating as usual Ihave seen the pics.of the young the rangers fan who says he was assaulted by a celtic fan throwing a bottle at him if this is true i personaly hope the bottle thrower is caught and punished accordingly.Celtic dont need supporters like the bottle thrower. H.H.

  2. Dena and Philbhoy. Just catching up with CQN. Have said the Memorare for both your ghirls. Mass prayers for all of you tomorrow. You both know the CQN family will be with you all the way.

HT. your remembrance of your dad yesterday must have been something special . There are moments like that which remind us of the continued existence of our loved ones in the Other Paradise.

May I add my thanks for all your efforts to have the despotic OB Act removed from the Statute Book. Keep up the good work on all the other fields related to Celtic that you are involved in with so much passion.

  3. Another wee incident that seems to have been forgotten ,instigated by our MIB was in the first half.A corner to Celtic.Moussa being assaulted by a couple of Hun defenders ,managed to shake himself free, and got an effort off that hit Gilks and went over the bar.Foul against Moussa. If it goes in,two perfectly good goals chalked off.

    GFTB,

Re Bridgeton. The nearest town to me here is Drogheda or Droichead Átha…I always have a wee laugh when i’m over as my train stops at Bridgeton or Baile na Drochaid.

I wonder if many of the residents of the fine Glasgow suburb know that they share so much in common with a historic Irish town. The bridge or ford here goes over the Boyne so I suppose they’d be delighted with that. Maybe I should look into getting us twinned:)).

Think Bridgeton in Glasgow is already twinned mate – with the Moon. ;-))

One incident I couldn’t see too well on my phone screen watching the match yesterday was whether McKay did actually dive? CQN Verdict?

    I thought so. :-)))

And who said it was a Celtic fan?.Ridiculous to come on here spouting this when you have not a shred of proof, just like Scotlands finest.

If you remember the last time we had these kind of stories, the kid on the bus, bottled.Turns out it was one of his own who threw it.The guy beaten up by Celtic fans in Newarthill,I think.Witnessed by his partner.Again turns out both were liars.Attacked by their own.Found guilty in court.

We have enough to put up with without our own fans jumping on the bandwagon.Surprised at you.

Hope all is good with you and yours, the mob fae Brigton as Natknow says are probably twinned with the moon, talking of bridges I don’t think you can get in (or out) of Coatbridge without going over or under a bridge

    Correct,mate. Bloody idiot.

I agree with you about the incidents you reference. Like when we burnt out their bus,no correction/apology made in the rags when the truth came out.

In this case though,it does seem highly likely to have been one of our own. And I would love to be wrong!

I walked down Curtis Avenue shortly before this and there were loads of Celtic fans standing outside the Montford drinking from bottles. When Rangers fans and buses went by and they were very rowdy. We have to acknowledge that there are cretins on our side as well. It is most likely that a bottle being thrown in the direction of Rangers fans came from those outside the pub. Sad, but most likely true!
