NEW CQN PODCAST, KEVIN MILES IN SESSION, SENSATIONAL!
A Celtic State of Mind presents its 24th instalment of insightful discussion into the culture of Celtic Football Club, the city of Glasgow, and fans of the reigning invincible Scottish champions.
In the first ‘A Celtic State of Mind: In Session’ show, Paul John Dykes and Kevin Graham are joined by former Yashin frontman, Kevin Miles.

Big Eck till the end of the season according to Phil MacGhilobhan
Jophes , I’m sorry to hear of the tragic news about Anugus. . The anguish and pain his parents as well as their families feel , will be immeasurable.
I hope there is an equivalent of SANDS (the Still born and neo-natal death society ) or SIMBA , where Angus’ parents can go to for counselling and advice , if they wish to do so.
The above charities or similar ones , can be very helpful to bereaved parents and family members by listening to them. These charities have befrienders, all of whom are bereaved parents themselves.
My heartfelt sympathies go out to you and all your family at this very painful time for you all.

When you are back in this post code stuff Christie’s the cold beers are on me
Really looking forward to next Sunday a few Bhoys heading to the Brig fae Blantyre, Bailleston, Wishy and from here, will probably bump into a poster “Keep The Faith” as we are watching the final in the boozer where his bus leaves from …. canny wait to get out of the trap :-)

When reading Jophes post you & your good lady came to mind but wouldn’t post that, SANDS is something I knew nothing of until Kris Commons & your good lady
By the way Paddy Bonnar on radio Scotland stole one of your lines today, he was asked who were the best defenders you played behind his words “Roy Aitken, Mick McCarthy and the very underrated Tom McAdam”
JOPHES-really heartbreaking news mate
I sometimes tune into RTV, at least until they score.
I did it yesterday and ended up watching the whole game for my sins.
I was intrigued to find out who was the Marco to whom the doyen of the mic was referring.
Couldn’t be Signor Negri, he of the sore eye, I thought; but yes, it was he.
I couldn’t tell you how good an analyser he was as virtually everything he said had to be deciphered by the almost as unintelligible, Alan Mc.Laren!
We’ve had ‘the spl needs a strong sevco’; soon they will want us all to feel sorry for them.
!!BADA BING!!, 5:45 PM
That’ll be a lot of time to kill then as it ends on December 30 at 13:50 when the final whistle blows at Celtic Park.
Hope Ally’s got a big enough shed for his oul mucker.
a nice wee choon to cheer you up

His old newspaper quotes about *Rangers* having sectarian ‘problems’ were much
clearer, after he’d retired to the safety of Italia.
The stong “rankers” is a total myth, I realise there will be some form of shoite that the bigoted flies will fly around…. in my opinion Scottish football would prosper if we ever managed to ditch the hate Klub
How many other clubs have won trophies since 2012 ? DitchthecheatsCSC

By all accounts the champions haven’t had a penalty in the league this season ? But yesterday’s pen the ref was unsighted (no laffing) by all accounts the ball moved as if the County defender kicked it
So many (happy) n glorious chances for Huns yesterday according to BBC Scotland.
That awkward moment when they reveal the new Head Scout
BBBBBWWWWWWWAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAA Csc
BSR- the Monty Python team and The Two Ronnies , could not have written the Sevco script , i am loving their ‘Journey’…
I would forgive the ref for missing the penalty decision.
As Gerryfae said, he followed the direction of the ball,as seems to be the criteria for such incidents.
Let’s face it, the only reason I thought it was a penalty at first was that Calum had no reason to pull out of the shot and fall over.
Forensic examination of the replays showed otherwise.
BSR,
wasn’t there a spoof Q&A article, supposedly by Negri, where he alleged the sectarian level at Ibrox?
It didn’t satisfactorily explain the king sized black eye he reportedly received from an errant squash ball, though.
Thomthetim
It was a pen but again the refs view is the only reason he couldn’t give it :-)
This is some run our Bhoys are on, hope P67 has a server to back up the ole Cqn when we lose a league game
:-)
T3- there was a player blocking the ref’s view to be fair, when the ball.went in different direction i thought he won the ball, Brendan was smart to mention it post game

Heartfelt sympathy for your Niece her husband and all the family
May Angus Andrew Joseph rest in the arms of the Lord
Will be in our thoughts and prayers

You should be getting done for Gross Misconduct on grounds of sectarianism, as well as your fellow police who have hunted out the complainant
Pity you didn’t make the comments at a football game, could have got your for OBAFA, and banned you from your favourite stadium
Cowiebhoy
Ruth is a bigot, that is a sentence I hope I will never face, a very well paid job, she should be sacked on the spot and sanctioned when she signs on :-)
Just logged on and read back
thanks everyone for your kind thoughts and words.

There is a SANDS in Oz and I am sure they will be a source of strength for the parents.
Night all and God Bless

Take care, in our thoughts and prayers
Big Allen McKnight did alright in the 88 Cup Final. Not much he could do about the United goal in all fairness.
Still maintain that the Celtic support was at the very top of the world during the 4 games – Hertz semi-final, United in the final, last Centenary season league game at home against Dundee and the 89 Cup Final against the dead club.
Obviously some of the CL games have been out of this world also, however it does help when the sun is shining.
The Celtic end at Hampden Park was best.

Well remembered its hard to seperate Sevco fact from fiction.
THOMTHETIM….
Re the Negri incident… it happened in living wells, my big mate was the maintenance manager at the time.
It was Durie that hooked Negri.
All the staff were taken in and told if the story was leaked they would all be sacked on the spot.
Just another hun cover up. HH

My mother named me Gerard after St Gerard of Majella she had a few miscarriages before me so some of the stuff posted today is hard reading but also worth a read …. my father must have thought to himself let’s make sure that wee bam has to try hard to get a job…. him and his brother flung in “Hugh Patrick” as a middle name(s) but thankfully I worked through it :-)
Well said GFTB.
The Maestro was one of the greatest footballers of all time.
Always thought that Pirlo was similar class.

Sevco paid £700,000 for David Templeton ( ALLEGEDLY ) just over 5 years ago. He scored his first Premiership goal at Ibrokes, against………………………………………… Sevco on Saturday
