    I see Christie on the bench today as Tavernier starts instead for Bournemouth.

    No surprises in the line up pity about Welsh who’d started the season so well , Jenz preferred to Starfelt probably due to fitness Turnbull was always the Hatate switch.

     

     

    Very tough game ahead same front three which are now considered first choice, and GG as the second main striker, certain to come off the bench.

    It is interesting that on at least 2 ocassions that I know of personally DD has been dismissive of broadening our geographic horizons.

     

     

    This new one is one I knew about about but had no idea it was so developed.

     

     

    I can’t see any logic in Celtic dragging its feet on these options. Even if all it does os give us leverage for another further future ‘play’.

    For purposes of Celtic TV is Stornoway classed as overseas ??

     

     

    I know it will be a foreign country if mainland Scotland gets its independence but surely it is overseas already.

     

     

    Any hints from anyone in Lewis as to where it can be seen would be appreciated

    6 or 7 who played very few times last season in rangers 11 today.

     

     

    Indeed only 2 regular starters in their 11.

     

     

    This can’t be good for them.

     

     

    McInnes playing down any pressure on Killie.

    Regarding the absence of TV coverage….

     

     

    Most of you kids will be too young to know this but….

     

     

    Back in the day, in the early – very early – days of the internet, there was great guy by the name of Charlie Harvey. His handle was tictoc. He would listen to the radio comms in Scotland and give ‘live’ commentary on IRC. Internet Relay Chat as it was back then.

     

     

    He would create a ‘room’ and invite us all to join. Problem was that whenever he typed GOAL CELTIC, everyone would type things like yes, great brilliant. yadancer’ and such like. This always overloaded the IRC and the room kind of blew up.

     

     

    This meant that Charlie had to create a new room and issue new invites. Sometimes Charlie didn’t know that the room was gone and would continue his commentary. Alone. Meanwhile, Tims across the globe were wondering why they hadn’t received an invite to a new room.

     

     

    Every week, we’d tell everyone that they should not type their celebrations. But they didn’t listen.

     

     

    At least they didn’t bring flares….

     

     

    So, quit moaning about no tv coverage…..

     

     

    As weeron dons his hoops and steps out into the morning sunshine on his way to the Ottawa CSC to watch the game live and in living colour….:)

    I tell today’s young Celtic supporters that and they laugh at me. I know. Nothing new there then.
