CONFIRMED: NEW BHOY JENZ DEBUT

0

MORITZ JENZ will make his Celtic debut in the heart of the defence alongside Cameron Carter-Vickers against Ross County in Dingwall this afternoon.

The German centre-back, who agreed a season-long loan from Lorient last month, will replace Stephen Welsh who scored the opening goal in the 2-0 win over Aberdeen in the Premiership kick-off at Parkhead last Sunday.

The former Scotland Under-21 captain is missing from the squad which would suggest he has been forced out through injury.

As expected, David Turnbull will take the place of the crocked Reo Hatate in the midfield beside skipper Callum McGregor and Matt O’Riley.

Kyogo Furuhashi again leads the attack with Giorgos Giakoumakis named among the stand-by squad.

TEAM: Hart; Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Jenz, Taylor; Turnbull, McGregor, O’Riley; Jota, Kyogo, Maeda. Subs: Siegrist, Ralston, Starfelt, Bernabei, Giakoumakis, Abada, Mooy, McCarthy and Forrest.
