INVINCIBLES, What more can you say.

Often wonder what goes through the

mind of young Mick O’ halleron, why?

or does he just keep feeling his hip

pocket and say ” thats why ” don’t

think i could live with that.

    H.H Mick

  3. Invincibles right enough – it started here

CELTIC (4-2-3-1) Gordon; Lustig, Ambrose, Sviatchenko, Tierney (Izaguirre 55); McGregor, Johansen; Roberts, Rogic (Aitchison 75), Armstrong (Janko 84); Christie

    (Tierney 21, Rogic 26, Lustig 28, Armstrong 50, Roberts 54, Christie 59, Aitchison 77)

    MOTHERWELL…0

RONNY Deila was given a sensational seven-goal send-off at Paradise as his side ripped apart Motherwell on the final day of the season.

The Norwegian’s side dazzled in the sunshine in front of a packed and expectant Celtic Park and gave the out-going manager a fitting goodbye as he departs the club after two years, two league titles and a League Cup.

The incredible tally of goals started with Kieran Tierney’s first strike for the club and was followed up by goals from Tom Rogic and Mikael Lustig in the first-half. Only five minutes had lapsed in the second-half when Stuart Armstrong burst the net with a sensational volley before Patrick Roberts added a fifth and Ryan Christie capped off an excellent afternoon upfront with his first goal for the Celts.

Second-half substitute Jack Aitchison, 16, then made history by becoming the club’s youngest debutant and he celebrated in style, scoring with his first touch to make it 7-0 to the Celts.

The result was the perfect way for the club to celebrate their fifth SPFL Premiership title in a row and will no doubt allow the manager to return to his homeland with fond memories from his time in Glasgow.

  4. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

Superb – 62 games unbeaten was one of a litany of historical achievements we learned of growing up as Celtic fans.

As a child I used to think it must have been incredible “back in the olden days” – unbeaten for MORE THAN A YEAR ?

To think we’ve surpassed that today says everything about where we are as a club.

Well done Brendan & the players.

  5. weebobbycollins on

There are scumbag footballers, then there are scumbag footballers, then there is Paul Paton…

Throughout the game a wee voice inside my head was saying, “ffs someone break his leg.” It’s not good having those kind of thoughts…the last player I had those kind of thoughts for was Novo…Am I a bad yin?

  6. Moussa was involved in 3 of the goals he just shaded Armstrong for m-o-m.

Great cameo by Ntcham who just dominated in short time he had.He is going to be a monster.

Sinclair also starting to show some form again.

We should be grateful that we came out of a game against dirty B—–DS AND A WHISTLING CHEAT WITH NO INJURIES.

  7. WEEBOBBYCOLLINS

    I totally agree.

But the we scumbag is fly.

Late on opponents overtime and quick to dive at any attempt to tackle him.

A bitter and typical hun coward.

  8. INVINCIBLE 'GG on

All the goals posted by Lymmbhoy, shared by Bonfigli scored by Celtic.

    WEEBOBBYCOLLINS

Your not a bad yin Bobby, if i had my way half the country

would be in crutches, but must admit Paton would be top

    of my hit list.

    H.H Mick

  10. Brilliant, take a bow everyone, the full squad, all the staff, and the magnificent Celtic supporters. A team effort that everyone can be immensely proud off, which has yet to fully sink in.

Moussa MOM, what a beast, nightmare to play against.

  11. Melbourne Mick on

O.K Ghuy’s drunk stagger to bed now, but very happy.

Don’t think the princess will appreciate the BOTOB

being sung in her ear at this time in the morning

but big day tomorrow with the Social Celts so need

    some sleep.

    H.H Mick

  12. Another record set by this Celtic side, to add to all the other records set by past sides.

Stroll in the park today against the Perth Agriculturalists.

    Paton?! Horrible wee hun basturt!

    Onwards to 64…

    …and the hootenanny next weekend!

    HH!!

  13. The second goal shows how brilliant Dembele is.

He is involved just inside the halfway line and flicks ball to wide man.

Continues with lung bursting run and scores from about 4 yards out.

    Fantastic skill and intelligence.

  14. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

Agree with previous comments re: Paton and MacLean.

But the truth is they are just the worst two of a group of 11 guilty

Brendan’s 8 point plan (Hypothetical) for winning matches

Skill, Pass, Move, Think, Run, Press, Support, Shoot

    Tommy Wright’s (undeniably)

niggle, snarl, growl, elbow, bump, tug, scratch, kick

    Hail Hail

  15. weebobbycollins on

Bada…McLean is another…but Paton’s face says ‘horrible hurtin’ hun scumbag’ whilst McLean’s just says, ‘hun scumbag’…

  16. Our players are, quite rightly, receiving fulsome praise. In another twenty years , though, the current positivity will seem like mild rebuke compare to the memoried platitudes which will then be showered upon Brendan`s Bhoys. Unless, of course, we are still undefeated in twenty years time.

    JJ

  17. glendalystonsils on

Hope we can keep hold of Moussa, he could be instrumental in getting us into CL last 16 next season.

Back to his best he is nearly unstoppable. Much as I like Griff ,he can’t offer us what Moussa did today.

No failures in the team today though, we were sloppy in front of goal for the first hour, but absolutely magical for the last half hour.

  18. Thank you all for the updates today, special mention to lymmbhoy and also thanks to Bonfigli from the Huddleboard for the goals

  19. Delaneys Dunky on

Great show by the record breaking bhoys today. Moussa Stuart and KT were excellent. The rest brilliant.

Madden and Paton, a pair of hun bassas.

  20. glendalystonsils on

I can’t stand Paton’s nasty, ugly, snarling wee rat’s face. The elbow on Broony could have been a cheekbone/eye socket breaker and was a red in any neutral ref’s book. Madden however………………..

  21. The invincible defenders from 63 unbeaten – games and goals

    Gordon (60/0)

    De Vries (5/0)

    Gamboa (20/1)

    Boyata (29/5)

    Lustig (51/5)

    Ajer (4/0)

    Ralston (7/1)

    Miller (2/0)

    Tierney (47/4)

    Efe (1/0)

    Izzy (15/0)

    Toure (11/0)

    O’Connell (3/0)

    McCart (1/0)
