  1. Well done Celtic another record broken, I thought it would be a bit harder than it was but Celtic are unbeatable in Scotland.

I had my usual TV bets on a Saturday at the races there was a horse running in Green and white hoops and I put it in one of my line and it came in, I took it at 10/1 it won at 11/2, so a few bob back.

  2. Afternoon

On way home on a happy bus. Aside from slightlt careless play by Nir B ( otherwise terrific) early on a superb display to witness. 4-0 flattered Saints. A joy to watch.

  3. History Bhoys.

Well me, I want another and another and another and another and another…

Some team some day will beat us. Of that there is no doubt. But when I try to envisage who or when I can’t see who will beat us or when it will happen.

When it comes I imagine a section of the support ill be outraged.

It will likely come from the most unlikely team. A cup defeat to a Morton or something daft like that or a bottom half league side.

Until then. Keep them keeping on Celtic.

Well done Brendan and the Bhoys.

  5. Great day. Only saw the last 20 minutes in the pub. 63 not out. Congratulations to Brendan and each and every bhoy who has contributed to the Record. Thank you. As a wee boy, I never thought I would see this day. Even during the Lions’ era, it never occurred to me that I would witness such an achievement.

Oh, happy birthday, Dena and belated many happy returns to BT and Brth.

  6. Grand oul stuff the day Cellic, jist grand, well done.

    One wee issue, Michal Lustig.

ML, a wee word in yer ear, matey.

ML I’ve noticed over the recent wee while that you have developed a wee bit of the sleekit McCoist-isms aboot ye.

ML, ye need tae draap that, matey.

ML, sleekit McCoist-isms are, unbecoming of any Cellic player, not matter their assumed status, k.

John Collins, I thank God that Brendan sought your counsel before he took the keys of the Cellic dugout, thank you for being thee straw of Cellicness to cling onto during the first half of the nightmare 90’s, oh how you were appreciated. Thanks.

Hugh, Murdo, keep it lit, thank you.

Where do the Rainjurs git thur money fae ?

Put it this wye, what collection of £billionaires diz it suit, for the Rainjurs to be here ?

    Hmmmmmm.

    Anywye,…..

Well done with the winning bets

Dena great wee birthday present, many, many happy returns

We live in great Celtic times

Well done Brendan & the Bhoys

  8. What is the Stars on

    Tontime

    He was a great character

There is a youtube clip of an interview with him explaining all about his rebel career

I will try to post the link. Its about an hour long but worth a watch.

His story about the day he was sworn into the IRA (in the company Tomas MacGiolla ) back in the 50s is funny. The house in Ballyfermot Dublin was in darkness save for a few flickering candles that he presumed were to add solemnity to ceremony. He only found out many years later that the house was in darkness because the electricity bill hadnt been paid

  9. The lowest I have ever felt at any sporting occasion was on a miserable, damp, cold night in Ibrox watching our lads being beaten by Raith Rovers on penalties in the League Cup Final. At the end of our extra long drive back to the south west of Ireland, I swore I would never get that down again. And I didn’t. All through the cheating years we watched some great Celtic players loose out on medals because the “establishment” were too afraid to question the cheats. We can never make it up to Tommy Burns, but…… We are now on the wave of something beautiful, something magical. Our stadium is magnificent, our finances are admired throughout the sporting world. The players are top class, playing great football. Our manager is of us, he understands. But above all, our fans are recognised as the best in world. Not just by FIFA, but by the worlds greatest players, by the visiting fans from around Europe.

In the 1980’s a true Belfast man formed the Charlie Tully CSC in County Clare. The Late Charlie Murray. By coincidence I am at the Christening of the latest of his many descendants, a beautiful set of twins, his great, granchildren

After following Celtic since the 1930’s, how proud he would be today to see a fellow Ulsterman break the British record for the second time.

To all you younger fans, enjoy these days. They are not as easy won as you may think.

Hail, Hail to the Invincibles !!!

  10. Nye Bevans' rebel soldier on

A massive well done to Brendan, his background staff, and most of

all the player’s for a record breaking achievement…….a wee word tae

wise records can be broken….it’s medals that count.

    Kevj…..marvellous stuff ya daftie:)

  12. great result bhoys. by the way talking of paton. thats why ive no time for mark wilson. he was with the hun scumbag when he assaulted zaluska.

  13. Great result today. Record smashed. Belated Happy Birthday to those CQNrs who celebrated these last few days. Was a bit distracted from CQN stuff by celebrating the birth and Progres (see what I did there?) of our first grandchild. He is sure to be a future bhoys supporter!

BTW, that agricultural stooge Paton has a narrow eyed Hun visage and looks like a real untalented THUG. Broonie sorted him out though ;)

  14. Congratulations to everyone involved in the record, from players, management , coaching and admin staff, and to the bhoys and ghirls in the stands every week.

Enjoy this. None of us will be around to see this again (although a win or a draw in Dingwall in a couple of weeks will see us break the record again :-). )

    We live in special times.

Swedish defender Mikael Lustig scores a goal that is reminiscent of his fellow countryman Henrik Larsson’s famous diving header for Sweden against Bulgaria in Euro 2004 as he soars through the air and bullets the ball into the top corner of the net. The goal is even better because he takes part in the move at every stage, turning defence into attack.

  17. Just when it looked like St J might make a fist of it we took them out with 2 superbly worked goals then followed up with a third.

So glad for the players, it will make that squad immortal and it doesn’t get any better than that.

I have a watched the majority of domestic matches in a Costa pub this year and it has been an absolute pleasure to enjoy the football and the company.

My white top has never seen us lose and it may disintegrate before that happens.

Celtic are living proof of the benefits of being ethical. It’s a pity the rest of Scottish football has not learned that lesson.

  18. JIMBOB on 4TH NOVEMBER 2017 3:18 PM

Can’t. See Tommy Wright, getting the gig at Ibrox,St Johnstone,is his limit

*aye why would he lower himself

  19. Record breakers.

Paton!, after the 2nd goal would’ve been happy if somebody had have taken one fir the team and cleaned that basturt oot.

A see him oan ma travels and I’ll happily dae it!!.

  20. Fabulous achievement today Celtic! As a teenager and early 20 something from 1988 through the dark days of the 90’s it’s quite incredible.

I remember the day it all started by the way – our recovery from that and the beginning of the downfall of them uns. I remember exactly where I was when a friend showed me the daily radar coverage of the rebel victory. I say exactly, I was on a bit of a short drink related road trip and he bought it at a service station somewhere in the North East. Today’s win, the 6 in a row, Seville, the humpings of both Ibrox clubs, the cup wins, the CL nights, the fabulous stadium and the evolving improvements in its environs – it all goes back to that day.

By the way, am I alone in wanting the sheep to win? I want them and Hibs battling for 2nd. I suppose if Murty gets another win and keeps pace with those two he might get the orc gig. I’d like that too. It’s all good today.

The lowest I have ever felt at any sporting occasion was on a miserable, damp, cold night in Ibrox watching our lads being beaten by Raith Rovers on penalties in the League Cup Final. At the end of our extra long drive back to the south west of Ireland, I swore I would never get that down again.

*That game was IMHO the catalyst for where we are today, the following week Matt McGlone and David Low where over in southern Ontario trying tae sell shares.

The local clubs and pubs were filled tae the gunnels with supporters wanting tae buy them, a) for sentimental reasons, and b) as we knew it was the only way we could compete with them. So successful was this drive that the issue was oversubscribed. I can recall on hearing this phoning David Low who assured me it would all be ok and we would get our shares.

  22. i want aberdeen to drop 2 points, they are to close for comfort, they have been remarcably consistent.

partick are shite when they go to the badgers hovel

  23. I hope Aberdeen get gubbed:)

The Christmas stocking filler over at Sevco being prepared as we speak..

    Our Glorious Wins Over Partick:))

Motherwell slipping up really badly today..

    Bhoys Keep Swinging

  24. Aberdeen, keep winning.

    Hibees, keep winning.

They meet us the winning stoaps.

    I’m happy.

Hail Hail tae the record breaking invincibles.

  25. The fitness levels of this squad is remarkable, toughest game imaginable on Tuesday, we ran over the top of St J in last 20 minutes, chasing more goals in injury time, a total credit to the Club, i hope Brendan lets the Bhoys have a wee celebration tonight.
