Well done to Brendan and the bhoys for a fine win today and setting a new record.Onwords and upwords for the Bhoys. H.H.

  4. Is the griff injured . Does anyone else think there is a problem with him at the moment . A few guys round about me at the stadium don’t think his body language is as it should be . Personally was a bit disappointed in his statement that if he scored v hibs he wouldn,t celebrate his goal . But as the hibs fans were singing , he,s one of there own .

  5. blantyretim is praying for the Knox family on

Wouldn’t have been fantastic to celebrate a new record for Celtic with fellow CQN without having to navigate hundreds of adverts

    Poor CQN,

  6. my radio feed is about 3 minutes behind the scores, quite funny that cqn-ers post quicker.

    Jimtim,

i heard leigh is agitating for a move back to hibs. cos he thinks they can win the league this year.

  7. We came through a flat but today but understandable

63 – wonderful wonderful wonderful- despite what folk may think – I wasn’t there the first time!

    Very happy with the bhoys

Btw – Paton has inherited Lasley’s mantle

One day you dirty Hun thug!

  8. A wee bit of useless trivia here while watching ‘uddersfield and WBA just now, the latter looking resplendent in their away green top.

During the 50s/60s their away strip was all red, this changed to all white until the mid 70s when a green and gold one was introduced by new manager Johnny Giles.

  9. Just watched 63 in a row though I’ve been up at 2am through to 4am for many a season watching the Hoops. Trained at Celtic Park with George and Tommy B and I am so proud of those guys, along with Ben, Chrissy, Tony, 1 or 2 of the McStay’s and many others. They made Celtic what it is today as much as anyone else did.

Where do you begin? It isn’t easy being undefeated for so many games but Brendan and his team have managed it. May your run continue for many, many more games. In the meantime I will continue to set my alarm and take the pleasures that you so willingly offer. TAL has surely come.

Hail Hail and good luck for the future.

  10. Seen that Laurie Cunningham fella at Celtic Park when he hit corners with the outside of his foot. Another of the many great footballers who passed through Celtic,s gates. Think he played with Real Madrid at the time. Maybe Franny McM could confirm that for me. (Happy, smiley face thingy).

  11. I’ve been saying since MON came in the new millenium that we are, again, living through wondrous times.

I have to say that no part of my head ever imagined we could go a season unbeaten in the SPFL far less for 63 games. All the variables: loss of form, squad rotation, injuries, influence of refs, focus on CL ties, and maintaining motivation after the league is secured, suggested to me that we would come a cropper on an off day. I annoued Philbhoy by being too voval in expressing my scepticism and, while my head still tells me that I was right, my heart and this fantastic football club tell me that it has really happened.

It really is an unbelievable achievment but it is equally real. The invincibles who made this happened should be talked about for long in our history.

Today the mark is 63 but Brendan will already be thinking this:-

    Killers

  12. Congrats to the Celtic squad and the backroom team for this record breaking journey and what better than to achieve it in 2017 the 50th anniversary of the Lisbon Lions who also broke another British record.

Murty will surely be handed the manager’s job at Sevco.

    Knows the players

    Knows his place.

Good day all round, lead extended to 3 points as Aberdeen have drawn 2-2.

  16. Just home.

Wee glass of Prosecco to toast the Record Breakers . Sorry Roy Castle’s Dedication playing on the same mental loop as ‘ This is How It Feels to be Celtic’ and various ditties about Kieran Tierney.

Cin cin , Slainte and thanks to Brendan ańd the Bhoys.
