For those who can’t see the 2 “defensive” midfielders today you are portraying your lack of understanding of the team.
Ntcham and McGregor will play a more defensive role with Forrest and ROgic being more offensive. French Eddie will come in from the left.
This is a strong enough team and should see a comfortable win today IF we create the abundance of chances we create.

I don’t see it as a strong side I see it as stubbornness in the face of criticism.
No matter the talent available at the moment our attitude is letting us down.
The lack of attitude and desire we suffer from runs through that team.

So pass marks for Tierney, Benkovic and a Rogic with the other 8 in close competition for piss poor player of the day.

Ignoring current form …
You really are having a laugh now.
We are in this hole because form has deserted us, our attitude stinks and we have no heart.
FC Wizard of Oz at the moment but without the magic sippers or the wee terrier snapping at ankles.
Phoning it in would be a bit generous but that is where we seem to be.
Finally hoping that the Awayday CSC up their game and sing songs about football.
Please no more pseudo militaristic tripe from a bunch of Burton’s Commandos.
Wear the gear but slightly ignorant and self indulgent when it comes to understanding the issues.
I don’t like McGregor and Rogic in the same midfield.
Neither is defensively disciplined and Rogic has some wonderful moments but gives the ball away to often.
Our inability to know what to do when we turn the ball over is a worry with both guys in midfield.
Nt’cham also lacks positional savvy as brilliant as he is.
Hopefully the defense realizes and will push higher to squeeze the space in centre of field and Gordon will have been told to be alert to sweep long balls over the top

A surprising selection but I’m not prejudging anything . We will know by 5.15 whether this is a team to do the business or not.
A few players have got a chance to make up for selling themselves (not to mention their teammates and the fans) short on Thursday. Ntcham, McGregor Griffiths , Edouard ,Lustig.
Rogic too , needs to have more of an impact than he has of late.
I would like to see us start the game the way we started the second half in Perth .
My initial thought on team selection is that our midfield has no bite.
