Well played bhoys! I like Cifti – he’s showing enough to suggest he could be a cracker. Its clear he is trying too hard and maybe just needs a wee bit o composure or a lucky break.
Happy with the team performance with some clinical finishing at the end of fast slowing play middle to front.

What’s the time difference from here to Azerbaijan? Shouldn’t be a problem, I remember the days we’d have a fixture in Glasgow and have to set our watches back back 300 years.
Wits..We come from a small country with limited money..Thats Reality…I live with it, and enjoy the moment(and hope a miracle happens)…I can live like that.HH

CELTIC’s progress to the 3rd Qualifying round of the Champions League was secured tonight in Iceland setting up a tie against Azerbaijan Champions Qarabag.
The Hoops will be at home for the first leg of the tie, which will be played next Wednesday July 29 at Celtic Park, kicking off at 7.45pm. Your support will be crucial as the Celts aim to take a first leg lead ahead of the return leg the following week and a full house in Celtic Park could make all the difference to Ronny and the Bhoys.
Tickets for the match are on sale now with Season Ticket holders able to buy at a discounted price;
Season Ticket Holder Prices: Adults £20, Under 16s £10, Under 13s £5
General Sale Prices: Adults £22, Under 16s £12, Under 13s £7
For this match, we will be activating cards for those on the Home Cup Ticket Scheme and for those Season Ticket holders who purchase their own seat. Payments for those on the Home Cup Ticket Scheme will be taken on July 28. General sale purchasers will be issued match tickets.
When the home team tells you the park they play on is shit that’s fine by me, because nearly every park we play on away from home is the same, so no big deal.
Still work to do, but realistically, if we can’t beat Qarabag from Azerbaijan, then the Europa League is our level.
==========================
I think it is actually, but in the absence of knowing anything about the opposition I’m not going to make a judgment based on a strange sounding club name in a far off land.
When technique and athleticism are about, level attitude is what separates winners from losers. Going into the next game thinking they are not as good as us would be imo asking for trouble.

Couldnt help thinking of Inverness with that one tonight.
Dodgy surface.
Small….well….tiny stadium…..sun shining bright but lying low, casting shadows and probably playing havoc on players eyes.
We are yet to play a competitive game in our own league so not only does the whole team need to get up to speed again…..theres a few new guys trying to find their feet.
All in all……job done.

I forgot to tell you that Zbyszek went through his operation on Monday spoke to him yesterday and he’s tired after the op,he say’s it takes about a month to know if the op was a success.
My daughters boyfriend pointed paul the tim out at the start of the game when he saw the sons banner, the bus he travels on.
Not met the bloke (I think) reckon he makes most games.

No sure if I’d prefer VvD to be seeing too many more games if he’s for the off, we need to be thinking about who is replacing him and try and get them as many games together as possible.
Oh and I was MotB tonight :oD)))

Personal opinion, and I’m a big fan of Izzy
Thought our left back area was far more secure with Charlie playing there and defending when needed ?
And just a thought on tickets
Now I am not in the home cup scheme, as I point blank refuse to put money towards anything that benefits the SFA ( so Scottish cup and League cup, as they do eventually get part of any semi or final costs through Hampdump)
But
Should Celtic not also offer a European home game scheme only as well as an option on home games for season tickets ?
Hail Hail, and happy with 4-1 :-)
