    Good result. Everyone played well, but it was tough for Rogic to come on for the last 10 mins and make any impression. Mulgrew a good LB option imho. I think Cifti will come good – always keeping their defenders busy.

    It all looked a bit like Clyde in 2006 early on but ended up pretty easy wiyh one or two players looking as though they are running into form. Chsrlie M and GMS very good.

    GMS just pips Stokesy for MotM :)

     

    To be honest Broonie Charlie and GMS were all in the frame but some of GMS backtracking for me won him the perpetual motion player of the night.

    I’m well chuffed with the score on a dodgy pitch that we eventually got into tune with.

    Interesting to see the team v Rennes on Saturday. VvD and Boyata need to play together to develop the partnership – we just cannot afford to lose early goals in European ties !

     

     

    I would like to see Janko at right back. – LB – toss a coin ! Griffiths must be our starting striker regardless, but Cifcti needs that first goal to settle him down. Still a bit concerned about Johansen’s consistency – too many loose passes – and we need to settle on our ‘wide’ men.

     

     

    Still work to do, but realistically, if we can’t beat Qarabag from Azerbaijan, then the Europa League is our level.

     

     

    Everyone get along to CP next midweek – we need a big European night and result to make the away leg a less tense affair.

    After 6 minutes I’m thinking no problem.

     

     

    After 8 I’m thinking not another European nightmare (although we came back from 2 down v Inter)

     

     

    After 20 minutes I’m back to relaxing before the first goal, but glad to see it go in.

     

     

    Why don’t they just do a series of names out the hat to see who qualifies? Too much of a lottery for me.
