Time for expensive signings, the 1254125 10k

1606

Motherwell travel to Celtic Park tomorrow on a mission.  A win would see them draw level with Celtic, and after a physically and mentally draining Champions League midweek game, they will fancy their chances.  Inverness remain top of the league on goal difference, but this is the third consecutive season Motherwell have tucked in below Celtic.  They will not finish above Celtic, of course, but this is likely to be our toughest test of the season.

As well as the result, there should be other objectives from tomorrow’s game.  We are eight games into our European campaign but our two most expensive summer signings, Teemu Pukki and Derk Boerrigter, and still to settle into the team.  Both should start against Motherwell.

For reasons you know too well, I thought it would be a good idea to do the Great Scottish Run on Sunday in aid of 1254125.  I have (just) setup a Mydonate page, if you have been unable to participate in any event so far, you can do so online now.

Many thanks for your support.

Said it in real time and having saw it back, Neymar is a cheat, Brown didn’t touch him with the second alleged foul, if anything it was a yellow for the first foul. Y was raging at the game and was angrier when I saw it back. Brown was stupid though with his petulant fresh air kick.

My ‘Alma Mater’ of O.L.H.S.(Motherwell) has been a great nursery for Celtic. To mention but a few, there is Billy McNeill, our best ever captain; Bobby Murdoch, the best of the Lisbon Lions; and the late John Cushley, who never let us down in any game. A ‘Reunion Dinner’ is being arranged for all former pupils on Thursday 12th December at Harry Hood’s excellent place at Dalziel Park Hotel. Tickets are £30, with proceeds going to the School Memorial Chapel. The main speaker is a distinguished former pupil, Professor Tom Devine. Further information is available from ‘john@oatesonline.org’ .

  18. Broonie was suckered by both Barlotelli and Netmar in the space of two CL matches.

In both games, the ref came down hard on him.

Anybody that thas ever kcked a ball can see that those two are very talented footballers.

By the same token, anybody can see that they are con men.

Con men that are there for one thing… enter stage left: Broonie.

Anybody except … UEFA CL match offcials !!!

Refereeing, in my opinion, has a lot to answer for.

I for one am glad that we have Broonie in our team and tha he is captain.

Not many of his breed left these days: 100% comittment, talent and a fair bit of dig.

Still a lot to learn, though.

    But who hasn’t?

Ah agree that Brown’s “kick in the Back” wiz .. a mere Brush with a Feather Duster..

    Howevahhhhhh..It wiz a Gesture..

And Meant tae be a Comptuous wan, no Doot.. But

Nevertheless, It wiz open tae Interpretation..

Which Broonie Must have Known.. Afore He wiz so foolish enuff tae Try It.

And as Usual.. the Refs Interpretation of Broonie’s Gesture..wiz

That is Warranted a Red Card.

Look, Broonie,is No telling the truth when he Intimated that His Foolish action was the Child of His Hiving a rush of Blood tae the Heid..

    Na.. Broonie made that Gesture…

While in a Complete State of Sang Froid.

He jist didnae Care aboot the Consequence of his Action.

He jist wanted tae show his Disgust of the wey The Barca Player wiz pulling at the Heart Strings of the Ref..

    and.. well.

Ah therefore Hold Broonie Responsible fur his Action and Ah do not

Accept his reason for his Action or his Apologiy. eethur..
