Time for expensive signings, the 1254125 10k

1606

Motherwell travel to Celtic Park tomorrow on a mission.  A win would see them draw level with Celtic, and after a physically and mentally draining Champions League midweek game, they will fancy their chances.  Inverness remain top of the league on goal difference, but this is the third consecutive season Motherwell have tucked in below Celtic.  They will not finish above Celtic, of course, but this is likely to be our toughest test of the season.

As well as the result, there should be other objectives from tomorrow’s game.  We are eight games into our European campaign but our two most expensive summer signings, Teemu Pukki and Derk Boerrigter, and still to settle into the team.  Both should start against Motherwell.

For reasons you know too well, I thought it would be a good idea to do the Great Scottish Run on Sunday in aid of 1254125.  I have (just) setup a Mydonate page, if you have been unable to participate in any event so far, you can do so online now.

Many thanks for your support.

In recent days Scott brown has been accused of a lot of things, being impatient, suffering a rush of blood to the head, of being unthinking and impetuous. No, no, no and no again. Broonie may be a lot of things, but not those. Since March 2011, and the Emirates, Scott has been waiting for the chance to teach the wily Brazilian a playground style lesson, and where better to dish it out in our own back yard. Now that is what I call dedication.

I like that idea, we could do the trackside fotos where Sammy ran into the crowd! or where the players mobbed Henke as he held up his fingers and singled the big 50.

Or where Stan was hit by a plastic cup, or Bellamy knelt before the Ibrox faithless in celebration:-)

Oh yes that works for me.

Do they sell Jelly and aide Cream though?

It took you ten mins ffs, the first ball we had into their box after a couple, free to them, the tone was set for the night.

    My mate never really sees scottish football, if he had, he would have been delighted how good the ref was, so he was surprised how bad the ref was, he was under the illusion that euro refs are honest……seriously, I suppose all the years supporting Boro will do that to you >}

The plan is to have the do sometime next year

therefore there is a high likelihood the place suggested

    will already be closed down.

  6. Bit fed up of the criticism of our captain.

Yes he was hotheaded and a bit impetuous.

Scott Brown is a wholehearted trier , never a Celtic supporter as a boy but I’d bet my bottom dollar he is a Celtic mhan now and will always be.

No Celtic player who tries too hard will ever be criticised by me.

He is now steeped in us and IMO should be commended for his efforts in a Celtic Jersey , not denegrated for one or two impetuous actions.

  7. Talking of religious charlatans, how would you describe a Hungarian Jew who spent part of his life as a Protestant missionary, an Anglican priest, as MP for Darlington, right wing German politician, spy, Nazi collaborator and finally, Bhuddist monk.

    Such a man actually lived.

Seems it’s not just the brown fella that can be a con artist with religion. We do have some posters who seem to prefer highlighting only misdemeanours by the non-whites.

I know you are now reluctant to venture into the realm of politics, but I am led to believe that Ghandi`s intransigence and refusal to compromise with Jinna played a significant part in the decision to divide India.
