Why did we just have to tarnish the best 45 minute performance I have seen Celtic play away from home in Europe – with something so typically Celtic.
2 minutes before their goal the danger signs of that damned loss of concentration were there when Cha lost his man and Mulgrew lost all composure to slice the ball out for a corner by using his left foot.
Then the sucker punch from someone who has cost us dearly in Europe since Utrecht.
I have to say Samaras is a man possessed – looks like a £6m footballer out there and I have never, ever thought he looked like more than 6 pies worth.
We have done so so so so well – our shape, our tactics (anyone familiar with my posts will know thats usually a bug bear of mine) everything has been PERFECT until a moment of stupidity and loss of concentration.
The 1st 5 minutes of a half and the last 5 minutes of a half is so frequently unacceptable
Great performance from Celtic in the first half.
On this occasion, perhaps losing the goal just before half time will mean Udinese will not come out all guns blazing from the dressing room that they undoubtedly would have if they went in a goal down.
We can do this.
Really surprised by our set up, but it was a great success up until that daft equaliser. Well done Lenny and the bhoys.
I’ve a tenner on 2-1 at 18’s and I think we can do it based on that first half performance.
I don’t care if they’re missing a few first teamers, we’re giving them something to think about.

Going on the 1 and a half games against us, they are vastly overrated
More of the same in the 2nd half will see us do it
Very good performance spoiled by a moment of madness. Header from Chi not strong enough, Victor not tracking his man and appealing for offside and Fraser’s paw was not strong enough despite a great effort.
Strong performances from Forrest and Sammi early on and two good stops from Fraser Forster.
We can feel sorry for ourselves or we can put them down again- let’s give it a lash. 15 more minutes for Hooper on his YC and then its Stokes time.

Fabulous display by Celtic, best team on the park by a mile, Sammi the best player on the park by a mile.
Cha’s had a decent game but sold the jerseys with that header. We can still win this though if we keep playing like we have.

Before the game we would all have taken 1-1 at half time.
On the first half showing we can win this if we don’t switch off.
Yes very poor defending from Cha. Shouldve headed out for corner If he was unsure of what was behind him. His pace can be a great asset at times but he is not a great footballer.
This group has been a great experience for our players.
How can we play that well and not be ahead

Super performance 1st half, a bit lax for the goal, but freebies do things like that, that’s why they are freebies.
Fair play to Udinese for letting us play football, shows that we could blow the spl away time after time, if we were allowed to.
Superb stuff Celtic.
We were better than this lot at home and we are better than them now. Back out and play with confidence and go for it. It’s do or die time Bhoys, Get into them.

For such a good defensive record,
they look very vulnerable when we run at them.
Not over by any means. We’ll get another chance but we have to take it when it comes. Thought we had the edge in the first 45.
Cha ia fine as long as he is nowhere near our box or has no-one to mark. Have to say Paul Caddis is/was a better player.
Sammi has been sensational, and on this game alone he has trebled his transfer value, but have to say I would hate to be without him.
Wee James has shown he has the ability to live at this level.
