Cha had their winger done for pace, so terrible to give away a goal like that–but the Udinese player was offside. This Celtic team look the business for Europe, and I’m delighted Sammi is showing just what a player he can be. Udinese would be most worried of the two teams–Celtic have all to play for.

Good point, – we may have faced a blitz after showing up, the Serie A side in the first 45.
It may not be a bad thing, if Celtic start the second half well, pity our star man Samaras should have
held up play, instead of crossing just prior to the goal.

I would not blame him much. He lost the fight in the air. That happens.
Majstorovic again stops 2 yards from the ball and the player, turns to the referee and like the stationmaster rises his hand up. Off side is when the referee stops the play not when Majstorovic marks it. His stupid play and useless defending again.
The replay behind the goal shows Cha heading the ball onto the head of their player. As a result de netale is offside. Still poor defending but cone on let’s get the decisions right.

Now you and I know the only time you ‘I have to say’ is if you are going against your own instinct, like turning around to a mate in the pub and say ‘I have to say the huns are doing well’ or ‘I have to say Sebo is worrying me today’
For him to then turn around and say Hooper was lucky to be on the pitch was him redeeming himself to himself

A very composed first 45 from Celtic, and we’re a little unlucky to be all square at the break. I still thinkn we can do this.

And bear in mind that, but for that penalty at Celtic Park on 29th September, a draw tonight would have put us through!
Playing very well but are still allowing them great goal scoring chances. Di Natale was offside just before the ball was played into the box. Attack is now our best form of defence. We are troubling them at the back, we can score again here.

The goal against was a sickener,however not such a bad thing because it changes the Udinese mindset and ,just perhaps,if the second half continues without further scoring,then Udinese will start to settle for a draw.That will be our opportunity.
The aim should be no further goals for either side for the first 25 mins.

Fantastic first-half performance from Celtic and Samaras has been outstanding. Poor goal to lose, but we were by far the better side in the first 45 minutes, so more of the same and we will win this.

That goal hurts – we didn’t deserve that. Lack of investement in the team means you get players that are prone to mistakes like that. You get away with it in the SPL but against a europen class striker you don’t.

I think it is not a bad thing having to go back out there and make it happen again, just like they did in the first half.
This has been a superb performance so far and to hear those commentators go on the way they have just shows them up for what they really are – Bitter.
Why would they be in trouble for that – its not political and offends no one but UEFA – simples

Great first half. Sammi outstanding. Shows what we can do if we play against a team that plays football, as opposed to the “10 men behind the ball” SPL. We must get out of the SPL. Enjoyable game.
