When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose

914

So why go to court when you know you have signed up to a rule (literally) that forbids you from going to court and that will almost certainly lead to your expulsion from football?

Because almost certainly being expelled from football is a better option than the alternative.

As Bob said: “When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose”.

They have nothing. Nothing.

  3. Apologies, this has probably been posted, but it deserves another imo.

From the Brilliant Barcabhoy .(From RTC)

Adam doesn’t bother me in the slightest. He has absolutely no influence on the outcome of this farce. He can therefore put his view into play any time he likes as far as i’m concerned

What may be of interest to him, and others, is that the very worst of the offenses committed by Rangers have yet to be properly put into the public domain. In fact they haven’t been put there at all.

They will be and when they are, they will be beyond belief. In fact I had a problem believing it myself initially. At the point of disclosure I very much look forward to reading Adam’s efforts to put forward the alternative view. It’s not my story so i can’t control the disclosure timescale, but when it comes out it will be nuclear

Just to make this clear, what has still to come out is worse than illegally registering players, is worse than using VAT and PAYE as cash-flow, is worse than deliberately not paying fellow clubs, is worse than deliberately abusing the EBT system

    its much worse……

My advice to those who know what they have done……don’t walk away…….run away as fast as you can, preferably to somewhere without an extradition treaty with the UK……because you know what you have done, and you know that its coming out.

  4. It could be Green is keeping up the facade of due diligence and wants to go over shared sponsorship deals. However if the meeting does take place I think it does merit a comment to the fans explaining what it was about.

  5. So, from what I’m reading on cqn today the DR is muck raking – why would anyone take this seriously ? Is there any quote to back up scurrilous rumour ? – probably not. Is there any common sense in the article ? – highly unlikely. Should we care about another pile of drivel coming out of so called journalists? – absolutely not !

    Don’t feed the Trolls !

I was sitting on the steps of Monreale Cathedral recently [ waiting for a mate to turn up . ] Monreale Cathedral is one of the greatest architectural marvels of the Middle Ages.

  12. Green saying he has had talks with HMRC is reminiscent of Tony Adams saying he had talks with Wim Jansen over the Celtic job. And the former will have the same outcome as the latter – dismissed out of hand for being a sad, deluded character in need of help and playing the press for the mugs they are in order to better his stuttering career.

  14. Green is surely trying to back us in a corner by claiming he’s meeting Lawwell next week so he can blame us for whatever happens to RFC. Surely CFC aren’t meeting up with this chancer?

‘Towards the end of the First World War, when it was clear Britain was going to take over Palestine, the leader of the Zionists at the time, Chaim Weitzmann, contacted the British foreign secretary, Arthur Balfour, getting from him, on 2 November 1917, a declaration promising the Jews a homeland in Palestine. Sir Ronald Storrs, the first British military governor of Jerusalem, explained that the Zionist “enterprise was one that blessed him that gave as well as him that took, by forming for England ‘a little loyal Jewish Ulster’ in a sea of potentially hostile Arabism.” The Zionists would be the Orangemen of Palestine.’

    macjay1 and ernie,

When Israel was re-created it was already written thousands of years earlier that it would happen. God will use both Good and Evil as he sees fit.

What we have to be aware of more than anything else, is the enemy of God is trying to control things as much as he can see from God’s word (Alpha and Omega), the enemy doesn’t know the beginning and the end but is trying to work it out so he can control the events. This is why prophecy is so important, it is not apparent until it happens and it has to be this way because the enemy of God are the most studious of his Word.

The people (or forces) in control of Israel, IMO, are bad people and they are purposefully making Israel an enemy of the World and are wanting the whole World against them (again this has been prophecised precisely).

It is very complex and a lot of it is heartbreaking to witness but this is not a battle of flesh and blood but a deeply spiritual battle. All of course, my opinion.

Tried to post this last night but the blog was down for a while

Anyway here’s my wee contribution to Lisbon Lions Day

As a 9yr old in ’67 I remember tearing up a brand new pillow case

and with two big fat primary school crayons, (remember them?) fashioned myself a tri-colour and joined the many people celebrating on the streets that summer night. This was at a time when flying the Irish flag could result in arrest (even for a 9yr old)

A few months later my Da took the brother and I to St Marys Hall Bank Street where there was a concert in honour of the bhoys. Steve, Bertie, and Ronnie were guests of honour that night .I remember someone presented Ronnie with a crash helmet to mark

the head wound he got at the Racing game.

Any other Belfast bhoys in attendance that night?

  25. Scorching in the town but unfortunatly am working and indoors :-(

I see that Gregg’s at Govan Cross has been voted the best out of 1600 in the UK (for sales presumably).

    They sell –

    6000 sausage rolls

    3000 rolls

    1200 strawberry tarts

    1200 baguettes

    600 pies

Per week! No prizes for guessing who was their best customer!!!!!
