When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose

914

So why go to court when you know you have signed up to a rule (literally) that forbids you from going to court and that will almost certainly lead to your expulsion from football?

Because almost certainly being expelled from football is a better option than the alternative.

As Bob said: “When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose”.

They have nothing. Nothing.

Do we really think PL is going to meet Green tomorrow ??

What evidence is there , other than the Daily Record ?

Are they a lot more accurate in what they print now , after “wealth off the radar” ?

”This still does not answer the question as to how Rangers were allowed to run up a £15 million bill since May 2011 for PAYE and VAT (Scottish Masonic Taxmen?).”

RTC dealt with this at the time, ie during the period when the huns weren’t paying the PAYE.

I assume the stuff will still be available on the site.

Basically the huns didn’t submit their annual return informing HMRC of how many employees they had etc which meant they fell off HMRC’s collection system.

It’s a device people use when they have no intention of paying employees PAYE and NI contributions.

No doubt HMRC will bear it in mind when considering any proposed CVA.

once again the DR tries to offer hope where there is none, I’m willing to bet that it’s news to PL that Green Bhoy wants a meet, as for the nod from HMRC? How could HMRC possibly give a nod on a CVA which currently doesn’t exist? How can Haudit & Daudit (who are acting on the creditors’ behalf, no sniggering!) approve a CVA acceptance whilst pouring good money after bad into court cases, pitches and ‘scouting’?

The end game is liquidation as a result of the BTC, they are trying to provoke HMRC into declaring a position.

  9. re TC & Barcabhoy – The only thing worse than what is out in the open, and if you listen to the judicial panel, is straight forward, run of the mill match-fixing.

What shape or form this takes, if that is what is being referred to, is what will be interesting and, of course, most damning.

The reporting on the Ct of Sess case is quite amusing …far be it from me to comment on Keen QC`s submission …however most of it appears to be completely irrelevant …a great deal of comment about their current plight and very little about the case in hand

IMO it is plain that the panel had the power to do what they did

Either way though this latest media tripe should make no difference. As Like everyone else I can see no other outcome other than the most corrupt club probably in world football ceasing to exist. I only hope the poison withinn the SFA and media go with them. Double contracts, diddling the tax, P.A.Y.E etc.etc should be enough to kill any football club but from what we’re hearing this morning the nuclear bomb is still to be set off. Like everyone else I can’t wait to find out what it is but I hope to god it involves payments to the MIB.

Morning everyone. Can I just extend my thanks to all those of the Hunnic persuasion (Stunned this got past the Scotsman mods !) who take issue with Mr Gibbons summation of Nacho Novo’s spectacular career – you’ve given me inspiration for a new article in the British Medical Journal (to follow up “Guilt, Denial and Lies – The Bully’s Defence Mechanisms – Hun Shyte and its origins”). (Stunned again !) When the diminutive rodent faced love child of Manuel Waiter and Roland Rat is thought of as some kind of hero and worthy of a sneaky payment of £1.2 million (which could have gone to help “our boys” or paid for hospital supplies) then my hypothesis that der Boche are collectively suffering from the disorder known as “Orc ****ds” has been proven. I’ll give advance notice of publication so that someone can read it to you. In the meantime, stop eating the crayons.

Has Green had any meetings with the SPL Board [ either individually or collectively ?]

What position does Green hold within Scottish football ?

  19. The below is from the FIFA Statutes, D&P are undertaking action which will get rfc(ia) thrown out of league – is that under their remote as administrators? Strange.

    1. The Confederations, Members and Leagues shall agree to recognise CAS as an independent judicial authority and to ensure that their members, affiliated Players and Officials comply with the decisions passed by CAS. The same obligation shall apply to licensed match and players’ agents.

    2. Recourse to ordinary courts of law is prohibited unless specifically provided for in the FIFA regulations.

    3. The Associations shall insert a clause in their statutes or regulations, stipulating that it is prohibited to take disputes in the Association or disputes affecting Leagues, members of Leagues, clubs, members of clubs, Players, Officials and other Association Officials to ordinary courts of law, unless the FIFA regulations or binding legal provisions specifically provide for or stipulate recourse to ordinary courts of law. Instead of recourse to ordinary courts of law, provision shall be made for arbitration. Such disputes shall be taken to an independent and duly constituted arbitration tribunal recognised under the rules of the Association or Confederation or to CAS.

The Associations shall also ensure that this stipulation is implemented in the Association, if necessary by imposing a binding obligation on its members. The Associations shall impose sanctions on any party that fails to respect this obligation and ensure that any appeal against such sanctions shall likewise be strictly submitted to arbitration, and not to ordinary courts of law.

When I Skype him in Turkey the conversation always settles on Celtic/CQN. He is well up to date.

Reflecting back on that memorable day in Lisbon clearly we lived in more straightforward times- although we didn’t think so at the time. Ireland, Vietnam,Civil Rights in the USA were all underway but as far as the football was concerned who could conceive now of a Europen Cup Final where the winning team forgot to go up for the cup, where the winning captain only received it and ended up in the car park with the cup and fans were in the dressing room/ showers.

Don’t recall if Gordon mentioned it but whilst all our family stood on the pitch to see Billy receive the cup only Jim made it to the dressing room.

If you watch films of Lisbon I am the young man who planted the flag in the centre circle and paid homage.

“Da don’t even think of digging that field because that’s where I buried the guns!!”
