CELTIC faced Aberdeen four times in the Premiership last season and won them all without conceding a solitary goal.
The champions embarked upon a new campaign last time around with a 2-0 victory over the Dons on Premiership Flag Day on July 31 at Parkhead.
One of the highlights of a colourful afternoon was the Hoops’ second goal, a mesmersing solo run and shot from Filipe Jota which turned out to be his only strike against the north east club all term.
It was the start of something good as the Hoops swept to their eleventh title in 12 years and added the League Cup and Scottish Cup for a world record eighth treble.
MID-AIR ANTICS…Filipe Jota takes off as he attempts to control the ball in the 5-0 win over Aberdeen in May.
The Hoops won 1-0 on their travels in December and followed up with a 4-0 success in February. Following the spilt, the Dons had to play a third game in the east end of Glasgow and were thrashed 5-0 with the hosts bringing down the curtain on the league crusade in fine style.
Brendan Rodgers returns to Pittodrie in his second stint as Parkhead gaffer for the midday showdown today. How much can you remember about recent encounters against the Dons?
