Taco Bell now given free tacos for everyone tomorrow to reward stolen base.

    Not for this bear

  2. I’m trying to think:

Is that 13 times now BR has taken on Aberdeen and Sevco? 7 Aberdeen and 6 Sevco?

If so, then it’s 12 wins and only the one draw blotting the perfect record.

(It’s definitely one draw cos I remember the late Bobby Madden equaliser)

    Seriously, that’s some going!

It’ll take another referee intervention to break our invincibility.

For any man to keep his squad, yes the entire squad, motivated to the level Brendan has is astonishing. Give him a 5 year deal on £3m a year. Now.

    Struck out.

    ASTROS WIN.

    Series now tied 1-1.

Now to Houston Friday Saturday and Sunday.

    What a weekend in prospect.

Great finish to the baseball tonight alongside a fine Celtic win. Now bedtime

  6. COMEDY GOLD

Expectations rose for Kieran Tierney when he was awarded the Scottish Premiership Young Player of the Season award in 2016/17. It wouldn’t have been a surprise to see the young defenders form drop somewhat this season because of this pressure. However, the opposite has seemingly occurred and Tierney has actually improved markedly since last season.

The 20-year-old, who is valued at £1.8million by Transfermarkt, has featured in 14 games for Celtic so far this campaign and has been one of the most consistent performances in Brendan Rodgers’ side.

  7. MORE COMEDY GOLD

Dundee manager Neil McCann believes his side were denied a legitimate goal in their 1-0 defeat by Motherwell.

Sofien Moussa’s equaliser was ruled out by referee Stephen Finnie for a push.

McCann felt the verdict was harsh – and that major decisions have regularly been going against his side.

“I’m sick of criticising referees,” he said, “We’re not getting small decisions going against us, we’re getting some really big ones and it’s hard to take.”

  8. EVEN MORE COMEDY GOLD

Chris Burke’s injury-time equaliser earned Kilmarnock a dramatic point against 10-man Rangers at Ibrox.

Burke scored after Daniel Candeias had missed a 90th-minute penalty for the home side, who were leading through Jason Holt’s first-half goal.

Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack was sent off after a melee that followed the award of the spot-kick.

    DEFINITIVE RATINGS.

The only ones you’ll ever need.

  10. Moussa Dembele getting subbed and imitating Leigh Griff’s remove shin pad routine while walking off.

Griff laughing when he realised what Moussa was doing.

The smiles on the Celtic subs bench – especially Rogic.

    Priceless.

  11. Good morning CQN from an overcast, misty and very mild East Devon.

And so it came to pass that the dandy’s were well and truly pumped by the Celtic juggernaut

. Excellent performance Bhoys, KT different class.

    Hail! Hail!

  12. I don’t know what all the fuss is regarding KT. Why, only a few months ago a Scottish paper put out a team composed of the best from Celtic and Sevco, and KT didn’t get in it? He was overlooked for Lee Wallace?

So why all the fuss? Obviously he’s not as good as we think.

Or perhaps he’s just unlucky to be playing in the same era as Lee Wallace?

After all, if the neutral unbiased Scottish press think Lee is better than Kieran then it must be so.

Tune in after another 5 years for the best ever players to represent Celtic and Deadco select.

Jinky just loses out to Barry McKay…..

    Good Morning CQN

There are unconfirmed reports on Twitter this morning that Roberto Carlos wears Kieran Tierney pyjamas!

    Have a nice day y’all.

  15. Good (if not great!) morning, friends.

Usual scrollback there and, Mr Sandman (1.30am on previous page) take a bow, sir. Those player by player assessments were just superb. Especially Mr Rogic’s.

    Still smiling!

  16. Talking of KT, the BBCs latest full of shit sport’s announcer (the worst being that dick who won the dancing), just referred to Tierney as Lewis!!??

Excellent last night, with all 11 players on top form.

  17. As some have posted last night, we gubbed the Sheep without Roberts, Griff and Sinclair……some on here are forgetting about Jozo ?

    Just saying like.

  18. I read last night:

Kieran Tierney can kill 2 stones with one bird

Wears sunglasses so his eyes don’t hurt the sun

Doesn’t get wet, water gets Tierney’d

  19. Morning all from a damp South Ayrshire.

Arrived back yesterday afternoon and will be spending the next five months here, after spending the last five months in Italy!

Must be aff ma heid, as several people have told me! Still!

Watched the game last night and thought it was our best performance this season. One more domestic game unbeaten to equal the record of the 1915/17 side.

Hope to see some of you on 11/11.

    HH!!

  20. Morning all from the 7 as it proceeds towards Saracen Cross and onwards to the city.

Really enjoyed last night including the epilogue that was injury time at Ibrox. Only real cavil was CG’s distribution which at times seemed to be designed to injure our captain- touch of the old Edinburgh Derby rivalry? Broony did seem to get some revenge by trying to gift Aberdeen a late penalty to deny CG a clean sheet but Thomson intervened. Tongue slightly in cheek here.

I hope Brendan does not change too much on Saturday – some continuity of selection is needed although I think Sinky may return ahead of Callum McG or Tom R (no criticism of either’s performances last night which were as sparkling as the rest of the team’s). We have not played with quite the same fluency at Celtic Park as on our travels for most of 2017 and time that anomaly was rectified.

We have, I think, 13 games to play versus domestic oppositon between now and the short winter break. I expect us to be on 74 not out by Dec 31and our lead in the league to be higher than it is now. This is the time to do a Juantorena leg opening and ‘show our class’ as Ron Pickering once put it.

    Excellent report

    9/10

You missed out on the 10 out of 10 because you forgot to mention Heidi Klum..

    Another day of Fenianology beckons

  22. We could also do a “Ref Tiny Wharton” leg opening from 1966 (?)…when he dummied the ball and Bobby Murdoch hammered it into the Huns net.

BTW….on youtube when you watch that goal, and Whartons dummy..the commentator is obviously a Hun cos he claims that the Ref Wharton was celtic’s “12th man” at that goal….and the also post a drawing of Wharton wearing the Hoops under his Refs kit !

Honestly, did those Huns at the time just expect the Ref to stand still KNOWING that the ball would hit his legs, and thereby stop the flow of the pass ? Hunbelievable.

  23. FAVOURITE UNCLE on

    Rogic 9/10

    from sandman.1am ish.

Mad Tam the Aussie bagman; cliche-rolling-out irresistible temptation – he waltzes (Matilda) around that space between the backline and mid like a deceptive Koala, lazily destroying defences with the grace of Elle MacPherson and the bite of a Great White, exciting us like some swashbuckling surfer and delivering the gruff melodic impact of a Tom Waits take on a classic bush ballad. You think there’s nothing on, then he appears with some tribal incantation and it’s suddenly like seeing a mirage of Jenny Agutter in the desolate heat of the outback. I may have stretched that a bit far; I need to Walkabout a bit…

  25. This is what it means to be Celtic. Ecstatic after last night’s superb performance. Roll on Saturday for more of the same. Looking forward to seeing some bhoys at the corner.
