  2. I live in the Vancouver area

I got up early this morning to get some painting done before watching the game on Celtic tv

An hour before the game started the daughter in law called to ask if I could take my son up to the hospital for an ultrasound on his back

I was nervous about the game and thought I was f—- to watch it

Sitting in the hospital waiting room reading CQN someone posted the games on YouTube. I tried and it worked

I can not get it around my 66 year old brain what technology and Celtic have done for me. Amazing

Well done everybody associated with Celtic what’s night

    Cheers

  3. The one bit of praise I could give Aberdeen tonight is that none of the other 13 players Aberdeen used tonight could look Graeme Shinnie in the eyes after that match and say they brought anything to this game that came close to troubling Celtic.

One of the hardest things in sport is to keep going and applying yourself as all your team-mates are chucking it.

  4. Jamesgang.

Very clever. That gave me a chuckle ” tautology ”

    DD/Saint Stivs.

Saint Stivs. Do you recognise it now?

    H.T.

Chuck him out at Pitlochry :-)

Incidentally for those at the game, Timreaper is bang on, Button is brilliant with that pass. Check it out if you didn’t see it in real time. Looking one way passes it the other, class.

    Right Night all Enjoy.

    Hail Hail

And wasn’t Stuart Armstrong at his best tonight? Yes indeed!

Dont think his best, but getting better.Great engine.

Never knew Andy McCluskeys Dad was a Govan man,

I know he played pro or semi pro in the 1930s

Only 1 McCluskey in OMD by the way,

The McCluskey brothers were in The Bluebells.

  8. Try encourage your friends and relations to get to Celtic park on Saturday. Sell it out.

Tell them , this is the day Celtic equal a 100′ years record.

  9. Great win tonight — could have been 6 if we had played with more focus in the last 30 minutes.

Lots of great moments all across the team.

It was a case of we played well and the Sheep had 15 minutes and then that was that.

    Biggest difference — MD.

He has not much more skill than LG but he wins his individual battles.

He made the most of every ball that came his way.

    Second biggest difference — TR.

He might have look a little disjointed at times and he needs to recalibrate his left boot.

But how the worked the ball showing the opposition that vision beats brawn all day long.

Great result after a slow start.

Too much faffing about after the third goal but a great win.

The TFOD2.1 late late comedy show is all just too much though.

They really have taken it to a new level.

  10. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Magnificent performance by our team tonight .

We certainly let the Dons know again , we wont let up in our pursuit of trophies.

Willie Miller , in his commentory at our 1 nil win at Pittodrie last season, said at least 3 Dons players should have been booked in the first twenty minutes of that game.

Willie is the best pundit in the media.

I detested him when he played for Ferguson’s Aberdeen but I now admire him especially after him telling the truth tonight about what was Rangers’ self inflicted demise.

Cracking tweet tonight , is Logan still at the airport as I haven’t seen him on the pitch.

  15. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

St Stivs , I saw the photo of Paul in the Shamrock Rovers top, earler tonight .

    He suited the hoops.

  16. Govan X

You are correct. Getting my Bluebells mixed up wi my OMD. Still see Bobby Bluebell in Paradise wi Bobby Gillespie and Sharleen Spiteri. 3 cool fenian dudes in shades. :)

PS if we’re still unbeaten by Christmas hadn’t WITS promised to run around George Square in his skimpies????

  18. HAMILTON TIM,

The 2 passes he gave out to Broony just outside the box,in the centre of the park were suicide passes.Broony got a bit lucky with the 1st,when we were awarded a foul.He does the exact same thing a few minutes later.

I will agree, most of his out balls are OK,but he does these crazy odd ones which we will get punished for.

Sometimes you have to hit it long.

  19. I watched the game in the Kirkie Bar in Elgin tonight. Superb performance. Quote of the night for me was big

Sutty on the fans winning the award “Celtic fans are the best fans in the world. What do you think of that Steven?” You could hear Craigan choking on his tongue PMSL.

Payback time for the big mhan who knows he was cheated out of trophies.

    TURKEYBHOY on 25TH OCTOBER 2017 10:47 PM

He’s OK when he passes out wide, where the player can be side on and see who is behind him, but the balls to anyone in central defence, where the player has to have his back to the opposition and therefore can’t see behind him, are too often hospital passes.

Yes.Hamilton Tim did not see these. He was watching a different game.

  21. Only the dead wans can be 1-0 up and get a pen in the 90th minute, get a man sent off before taking the pen, miss pen then let a goal in to draw.

  22. Moussa couldnae believe the time and space he got for his second goal. Aberdeen are poor rivals.

More importantly, if you cannae make it, give your ST/s to someone to Witness this excellent Celtic Team as it starts to really develop.

  26. GreeninbingleyinOslo on

A superb, imperious team performance tonight – wonderful to watch.

I had the jitters about this game – the Dons have been quietly and effectively going about their business, matching us point for point. To see them blown away like that on their own pitch – wow.

Magnificent. Well done every single one of our Bhoys. This is just going to get better and better.

    Gaun yersel, Brendan Bhoy!

  27. I wouldn’t get too hung up on McIness comments. I think he is praising us to deflect somewhat from his own failings. Pre match when i saw their team i was delighted to see them go with two up top and GMS on the wing. To my mind that left them two men down in the midfield area. No team in Scotland has successfully played against us with two up top, in fact most teams wouldn’t even think about trying it. Maybe he thought it was a chance to get at our defence with Bitton in there but it backfired. What i would say is it was bleedingly obvious they were being overrun and it needed to be changed at half time or even before that. He was either clueless or not willing to admit he got it wrong.

  29. Talking of Comedy Gold,Pedro has to outdo everyone,

The draw piled turned up the heat on the Gers gaffer days after the Betfred Cup semi-final defeat to Motherwell.

But asked if he was worried about his job, Caixinha said: “No – I’m just worried about getting down to work in the morning and to do my very best.

“I’ll keep looking forward as usual.

“Am I the right man? Yes I am.

“I say to the fans that they are the most loyal fans in the world. They don’t deserve to pass through this situation.

“As I’ve told you all the time we work for them and I’m more disappointed for them.

“Because besides being the Rangers manager I’m also a Rangers fan. I’m blue inside.

They don’t deserve to pass through this situation.

No,they deserve to pass through an Aberdeen Angus bowels.

“Because besides being the Rangers manager I’m also a Rangers fan. I’m blue inside.

If the Hun hordes could get a hold of him he would be Black and Blue on the outside.
