    Good first half. Plenty of chances. I think Lennon has cured us of the pointless, constant square an back passing.

     

    Ball had to go, reckless in the extreme.

     

    Some pretty weird decisions by the ref though.

     

    Cracking goal from Forrest, brilliant.

     

    We should score a couple more and shut up shop.

    HT Celtic 1-0 Aberdeen

     

     

    Very good first half. Only one team in it. Not sure what Aberdeen’s game plan was, but they have been shocking from back to front. Can’t see any way back for them now.

     

     

    We started well with Jozo having two great chances early on. His second was the easiest but a typical centre half reaction in front of goal. Midfield has been excellent with Broonie controlling everything. Ryan was having a great game before his head knock. At first look I thought it was a harsh booking and sending off, but on replay it was a straight red. Very dangerous play. I hope Ryan is ok.

     

     

    What a strike from Jamesie’s left foot. Stunning finish. A second goal is key now to kill the game off.

    Celtic started well but then appeared to once again struggle against an organised team sitting deep and set up to stifle Celtics attacking play . Step up Jamesy F – that’s how to do it – mix up the play, a rifle shot from outside the box that the Keeper had no chance of saving. Aberdeen being allowed to push and shove Celtic players. IMO the challenge on Ryan was a straight red, Ball was about a year late with his headed challenge.

     

    Hope young Ryan is ok

    McCoist losing the plot . Thinks JF should have had a foul on the edge of the box but also think he deserved a booking for being fouled!?

    The more I see the clash between Ball and Christie the worse it looks . Ball was looking at Christie. They did not clash. It was a delberate head butt.

    Constant fouling, how Cosgrove nor Ferguson haven’t been booked would normally be beyond me.
