LMS 12 Round 9
As Messrs. Collins, Banks and Rutherford once said “And Then There Were Three” (obscure Genesis reference which not many will get, I suspect ).
3 contestants left battling it out for a very tidy prize.
Fixtures for round 9 are below. If we have 2 or more make it through to the final round, we will have a shoot-out to determine who is the real Predictor Genius – details of which will be revealed next weekend, should the situation arise. In round 10, all history of teams picked will be wiped and you will be able to select any team from each game, so, if you were saving a particular team for the final round…..don’t. You will be able to pick them again in Round 10, should you choose to do so. Usual rules for round 9 – you can only pick a team you haven’t already picked, and if anyone needs a reminder, let us know, and we’ll send you the list of who you have picked up to now.
Brighton and Hove Albion v Manchester City (15:00)
Burnley v Arsenal (15:00)
Leicester City v Chelsea (15:00)
Liverpool v Wolverhampton Wanderers (15:00)

I don’t know anything of Hayley mcQueen’s personal life or circumstances . I simply expect the anchor to be insightful and well informed . I don’t expect them to come out with comments such as ‘Celtic are on course to equal Rangers 9 in a row’ . I also don’t get why Rangers* manager is ‘Steven Gerrard’ , while Celtic’s manager is ‘Lennon’.
She is not the worst but she is part of a large group who are in the wrong job.

Indeed GFTB. I don’t like Liverpool because they stole King Kenny.
*I liked them for about 5 minutes and that was mainly due tae the Merseybeat which was prominent at the time and then along came the 2nd leg of the Lavvie Cup Semis and we were well and truly cheated. At the hunden final there were a lot of Germans with Scottish accents that night, hmmm same for the WC Final that year and the Lavvie Cup Final the following year.
Kenny signing for them didnae help and then my da telling me that when they won the EC the strains of the Cadbury’s Smash could be heard coming fae their support that night. Of course there was also Heysel which I watched over here meant I had less love for them.
I always had a soft spot for Everton due tae the Wee Barra signing for them and Man City after reading about Bert Trautmann playing in the FA Cup Final with a broken neck.
However, if Liverpool win it I won’t be too upset as it might show fraudgers and Mersey Mooth how urine they really are that they never achieved much during their management spell there.

Yeah, on the day, the BBC had the goal down as 68′ on the same page as English’s article about ‘number 5, 67th minute’ you wouldn’t believe it.

I’ve got aToyota CHR hybrid. It’s white with lime green trim, mirrors etc. Got a 67 number plate followed by CEL. Don’t think it would survive parked up around where I come from. I live down south now. It’s a good car to drive. Maybe too many buttons and controls. Half of them I still don’t understand. Although it’s hybrid I don’t get much more than 50 mpg. Probably the way I drive it.
Would recommend it though. I can send you a photo. You get the green extras added at the factory.
Anyway still celebrating from yesterday. And what about McGregor today. Kicks the wee guy in the back then falls down holding his foot. Even that clown Boyd in the studio couldn’t find an excuse for his big mate. At least ‘no season ticket’ Madden got it this time. Wee Willie Collum’s eyes in the back of his head missed it when he did Kris Ajer at our place. Suppose sending off in the closing minutes with nothing at stake today was an easy decision. Saves them going through all that compliance charade.
I wonder if James could ever win a Celtic fan poll for POTY.

I’ve seen the disgraceful kick from McGregor today, there is an extraordinary lack of professionalism at that Club. With that in mimd we should be full of praise for our own players. Aberdeen yesterday were as usual trying to wipe out our players, Forrest and Hayes were on the end of thuggish tackles. Aberdeen have broken KT’s jaw and shattered Ryan Christie in recent times too. Our players stuck to their game, played their football and won fair and square with a bit to spare. The mentality runs deep at the Club but there is no doubt Brendan Rodgers took it to another level.
