    Honestly do t know what the feck to make of all that

     

     

     

    That game has summed up our season so far. Always in control but constantly under pressure. Bad decision making. Costly mistakes as a result of bad decisions. Arse fall out late in games. Conceding costly goals late in games. Game management is awful

    We won…but….it was overall a very poor performance.

     

    We need to get a lot better to keep our league title.

     

    Plus, I really don’t understand some of BR’s positional selections. Yang on the left for example and also JF should get much more game time.

    All that matters for now is that we’re through.

     

     

    We shot ourselves in the foot so often we can’t have my toes left.

     

     

    Must play better for the rest of the season – otherwise the gifts we’ve been given this last 7/10 days will be wasted.

    if “game management” was so easy to execute then teams would just play that way the whole game, we are celtic ffs, we win in an entertaining way, i wonder what we bertie would say to you all.

    Big Arthur Boruc remains the only goalkeeper that I recall scoring for us in a penalty shootout.

    Yes, the dons played well but, we were guilty for all 3 of their goals. Joe Hart has inverted reflexes

    Wee bit of useless trivia here but the sheep player ho come on as a sub and had the penalty turned down but crossed the ball for the 90th minute equaliser hail hails fae Brampton Ontario just up the road fae the Bramalea CSC.

    We are in the final but talk about doing it the hard way !

     

     

    That display gives me serious doubts about winning all our remaining league games though .

     

     

    We may have to rely on the huns dropping further points , which fortunately is equally likely .

    seriously, no celtic player got pass marks, what were you watching ?

     

     

    3 good goals, a few more decent chances, wee forrest really made a difference,

     

     

    losing late goals being highlighted, are aberdeen not allowed to attack at celtic when they are in a cup tie ?

     

     

    i scratch my head as to what you all actually want from celtic, perfect performances with no mistakes ever, it is a team game for goodness sake,

     

     

    the sun is shining i am going to enjoy my day.

     

     

    lets ee what happens tomorrow.

    Glendaly, the Huns will take massive heart after watching that. It was a really worrying performance.

     

     

    As the BBC said at the beginning, ex Maeda, this is Celtic’s strongest team!!

    Will take any win, but that was painful. Hopefully a massive wake up goal for the run in.

     

     

    Hart taking the 5th penalty was just downright stupid,

     

     

    Scales and Taylor ..thanks for your services,..but we need major upgrades.

     

     

    A game full of drama, but remeber this is a team in the bottom 6.

    I dont understand why you dont understand. WE DONT HAVE A LEFT BACK WITH THE PHYSICAL ABILITY TO DEFEND THE BACK POST – we know its a weakness for years and we know the club has not solved it.

     

     

    Rodgers threw on extra height but they couldn’t organize themselves front , center and back post – we need to address this for the run in.

     

     

    Also, Alistair Johnson ALWAYS backs of when a play cuts inside – priority is to block the crosses and commit.

     

     

    Iwata played well and showed some heart.

     

     

    Minutes into Mcgregor , Palma and Forrest bodes well for remaining fixtures – but this league is fast from over.

     

     

    Finally, anyone notice how slow / long grass the pitch was – it looked sticky and heavy. Deliberate to slow our play? or am I imagining that>

    SS – to enjoy the sunshine you’ll need to take your head out the sand. That was one of the worst performances of the season when we’re meant to be at the “business end” and when we “come alive”.

    That was a nerve shredding, brilliant piece of entertainment…sorry all the moaning minnie’s couldn’t enjoy it.

    BR talked pre match about how good his defence have been playing lately with clean sheets , dearie dearie, a simple high ball to the back post and we struggle all the time, cant see out a 1 goal lead again and again , who’s fault is that the coaches ,the players ,something has to change. but we in another final on a great date 25th May.

    SS, agree with you.That Aberdeen team,are not the diddies their league place signifies.Its their last chance for glory,and they pumped everything into it.We have a problem with Scales defending crosses.Twice he lost his man,two goals.It was a fantastic game,and to win a game like that only makes you stronger.Hatate,Calmac still not 100% but more minutes on the pitch,another weeks training,will be there.

     

    We are in the final.The Double is on.Dry your eyes.

    1. We’re through

     

    2. Our big players came through without injury

     

    3. Our players coming back got a good few minutes under their belt on a big pitch in a proper high pressure game

     

    4. We scored three decent goals.

     

     

    Negatives

     

     

    That’s all for another day now.
