Saint Stiivs…. IMHO his substitutions at 2v1 Taking off our key men for starters. He did not leave winners, only MOR Hart listed to take a penalty, shocking !! Losing today would have given The Huns & Hearts a huge boost …Can you see that team performance today winning at Kilmarnock…🤔

All this talk about game management for Aberdeen and they had all to play for blah, blah, blah.
Where was our game management and desire.
I love it we are in a cup final. But ffs we were white….call it what it was.
Terrible.
Scales is Rank, wingers are white.
If anyone knows anything about football, you get ball out wide and it gives you options but ffs our 2 wide players were pish u till Jamsie a 34 year old came on….
Do not start me on Joe Hart taking a pen. WTF

Hope we come through today’s game injury free . Aberdeen were very ‘wholehearted’ in their approach to that game and Robertson was rather lenient .
the long wait is over on
Both we and Thems have to play the five best teams in the league.
It’s a brave man that thinks neither of us will drop points to the other teams.
I just hope we can concentrate on not losing silly goals. The rest will take care of itself.

Another final for the hoops , what’s not to like…. Phew !!!
given the way the fixture are scheduled it could be the case that only two fo the opponents have anything to play for.
hearts are 1 win from confired as 3rd. and hopefully will be in a cup final.
kille wont overtake them. and they in turn will be confird as 4th.
st mirren and dundee fight it out for the final european place.
if we win next 2 games, we can go into the huns game to win the title.
nothing that happened today give me the fear, seen everything before.
neither did i think we were shite all over the pitch.
we lose those back post goals often, it is a weakness, i am sure all managers try to exploit it.
in cup games with a final at stake, aberdeen only had one option once behind, to attack, they didnt game manage anything, but they did make for a competative game.
Actually TB you won’t be wrong. It is a thing of beauty to see their hopes built up and up then …. CRASH. I’ve seen it a few times recently.
I also saw/heard it today on BBC when wee MacLeod commentating nearly swallowed his microphone when he thought big CCV had given away a pen. Now the referee had immediately pointed away from the spot and indicated an infringement. To be honest I did not see what the infringement was, but the ref pointed there immediately. I saw it, thousands more watching the TV must have seen it, but in his sheer glee and delight that Abredeen might have a penalty MacLeod ignored the TV pictures he’s supposed to be commenting on. Then …. CRASH, his little heart of hope got blootered.
Anyway, now that the blood pressure is back to normal, IF you are a neutral (and I’m not) that was a very, very exciting semi-final and the occasion was a great one for Scottish Football. But, again a ‘but’, I don’t give a shoite and now have a great day to look forward to on the magical date of 25th May.
And here was me thinking you were doing the rhyming slang thing DAVIE BHOY.

As I said on here weeks ago, we haven’t turned a corner and BR doesn’t know his best team because he can’t make one out of this group of players. I fear we will be struggling right to the finishing line but hopefully will make it over first. Curious thing today Joe Hart taking the penalty – when it was obvious that a penalty shoot out was going to decide things I thought: I can’t see us scoring all of ours given past form and I can’t on the same basis see Big Joe saving any. Well 50% correct but however did a poor kicker of the ball and presumably someone who doesn’t practice shooting on a regular basis get to take the penalty on such an important occasion? Does he score them in training? Were others reluctant to take a penalty? If so, that tells you something you’d rather not know.
PeterLatchfordsBelly on
Well done those Celts. Got there in the end! Three times we lost it from a winning position but 4th time lucky.
O’Riley won MoTM but for mr it was Jamesy Forrest by a mile. I thought Joe Hart was our other standout. Kuhn and AJ also decent.
Yang is utter dugmeat, sorry.
CCV had his worst game for us and Scales and Taylor were both rotten today. The whole left side of our team was sub-standard today. Losing two replica goals in the last minute of normal then extra time was scandalous really.
Rodgers wasn’t great today either.
Aberdeen were excellent but we got there in the end. Phew.
Saint Stivs on
The manager told us before the game that Callum would probably not last the whole match.
He told us after the game that they had practiced taking penalties all week including Joe.
He said that is normal before a cup tie.
He said defender on James off to allow for Aberdeen having to come at us.
So he knows best. The critics not so much

no getting away from it , we were very lucky today , played poorly throughout the game , defensively , midfield and wide we where not performing with or usual fluidity and tempo , need to step up big time.
Re. the comments about the penalties. Like most I wasn’t that confident at the start of the shoot out, but, apart from Joe’s miss I thought our takers were generally excellent except for Paulo when the keeper managed to get a hand to it but it was too powerful for him to keep out. Makes you wonder (well, me anyway) why we have been so variable with the pens in the league games. My personal fav was Iwata’s – there is no keeper, anywhere in the world ever going to save that.
