That is the team I would have picked, so I wont be on at 8pm saying otherwise if we don’t get a good result…and if we don’t get a good result I wont be on as the usual negatrons will be all over the blog with their wisdom…

Corkcelt from the last thread. Thanks that made me laugh.
Team shape hasn’t altered despite results, good for Ronny Deila proving he’s his own man, and won’t bow to fan pressure, or MSM campaigns.
The team is a shade more senior than the one that lost on Saturday, and any points at all will be a bonus.

Well, blow me down, it’s 4-2-3-1 again.
OK – we don’t know how Simunovic and Boyata will shape up, but I wonder at the wisdom of giving Jozo his first start in a big European game alongside a rookie.
Brown/Bitton – reliable enough.
I’d swap Forrest and Commons. They both play better on left and right respectively ahead of those fullbacks.
Johansen behind Griffiths as a forward partnership effectively concedes most possession to the opposition – only Rogic/Griffiths is worse.
Just home from my mates mums funerals, a nice service.
It was good to meet up with some old friends, all tims and most don’t go on the Internet, some of the comments was on the mark and some read to much smsm.
On the bright side…i was the only one with a head of hair :)
Let’s mop the floor with Ajax tonight. HH

Expressed my concern already about Commons and Forrest tracking back. We are up against a young Ajax team so I hope KC doesn’t get caught out for pace – Commons needs to play in the middle.

And so the trashing of the team is already underway from the usual suspects.

Happy with that team but I’d love it be set up 4-4-1-1 with Commons behind Griffiths.
Never mind just please give us a performance Celtic!!
20 minutes prior to any European game and I am always equally excited and nervous. Hopefully the players take responsibility for their own performance tonight. No hiding, keep it simple and, you know what, we might just get the breaks for once and be top of this particular league.
That’s it from me. All positive energy directed towards the flat screen in the corner. Oh, and seeing as it’s Europe it’ll be a half time pizza rather than a half time pie ;-)
