  1. THE GREEN MAN SAYS SACK THE BOARD

Surely Paul the Tim will have been through what we have been through earlier and will have better things to do than start nonsense rumors, I just don’t think there is anything to it, so in my opinion its a nothing, its mischief making. ;) Not trying to kick anyone’s cage. just my 2 cents.

Why would Paul the Tim be mischief making?

He heard something, he tweeted, big deal.

TGM,just WTF would he have been to get this news?.He heard some sh!t rumour because Jozo did not play, and spread it.

So unless Liverpool throw away at 2-1 lead at home tomorrow – it’s Pot 4

  4. FRIESDORFER

Block H is going back to 1995 when original season books for our redeveloped north stand seats were available

Block 103 – 107 rows W, X, Y – DD from memory, (6-8 rows in front of the padded seats)

In other words those who loose their seats for European games

We used to always be relocated in North stand, now being fired over to 418, visiting fans corner

Oh a wee rumour, Billy Davies, has pulled out of Hearts manager shortlist, as something of more interest may be becoming available ??? Allegedly

This is how it feels to be Celtic,

Champions League again don’t you know.

Brendan Rodgers is here, to give it a go!

  6. We always make it tough, look at tonight, Pot 4 it looks like. Who knows though. I would like us to get in Rivaldo to play with Simo with Boyatta and Erik as back up (or punt one or both )with Ajer as back up (poorest I have saw him tonight) The MD we are spoiled for choices but I would like another striker to back up Leigh as Moussa is off form or injured a fair bit which is a shame and get Paddy in obviously.

  7. I will take Pot 4 every year, the same rumour stuff from Killie was MC wanted 40% sell on for Paddy…

  8. I hope they were waiting until after today to announce Pat when Brendan gets home. Fair bit to play with now, If VVD had moved I think Paddy would already be a Celtic player. I think Paddy and the club want him on FT but Man city might be playing funny buggers. who knows.

KDS rumours. we have got Real Madrid,Dortmund,Spurs in CL draw ………….I believe this one for a change.

  11. Now down to the Hoff tomorrow for pot 3

Assuming they don’t then one of these 4 from each pot would be my preference

    Pot 1

    Spartack Moscow

    Shaktar Donestsk

    Monaco

    Benfica

    Pot 2

    Dortmund

    Porto

    Sevilla

    PSG

    Pot 3

    Olmpiakos

    Anderlecht

    Basel

    Besiktas

Chelsea are another PR disaster ala Linfield. Expect trouble off the park. Can’t say I’d be disappointed to get Real though it would probably make for an impossible group, though at least it would guarantee we avoid Barca. Getting an English or Italian team from pot 3 would be harsh but given the choice I’d take the English.

No expectations. Rodgers for me has 2 targets, qualify for the CL and win the league. Anything we do there is a bonus, particularly from pot 4. Though given the probability we will lose a lot of players next summer this could be our best chance for a European run for some time.

  12. Cowiebhoy, ok I get you now. I was in Lisbon Lions 115 until about 5 years ago when I got moved because they decided to make that the family section. I wasn’t happy with that having been there since the stadium refurb. So I got offered a couple of options and, although it was more expensive, I chose 202 to ensure that I wouldn’t have to move for CL. Sorry to hear that you getting the runaround.

DD , where are you in 102, that’s just below me? I am in KK 1 & 2, maybe see you on Sat!

  13. Benfica, Sevilla, Anderlecht would be a good group. A chance of 2nd or 3rd, no travel problems, good games for support both home an for away trip or two

It was no mean feat qualifying for the CL given the injury problems that have plagued us so far this season.

Not to mention the distraction of the never ending Paddy Roberts transfer saga.

I would be really happy if the English transfer window was to close at the start of their league season as Mourinho and others are calling for.

It would help us complete our own transfer business earlier in the summer (none of this waiting to see who is available from the EPL development squads on deadline day) and stop dross like Burnley etc from allegedly unsettling our players during CL qualifiers.

On tonight’s game – I thought Astana overdid the snidey leave the boot in type of fouls and were given licence to do so by a very lenient ref.

They targeted tierney in particular and we really should have dished out some retribution and nipped that in the bud early in the game.

One of those snidey late challenges left ntchaim playing out the game on one leg.

It took until shomko clattered Armstrong towards the end of the game before we kicked back against it, brown squared up to shomko who promptly filled his pants and was full of apologies.

Wish we had shown that attitude much earlier in the game.

Job done. Let’s see what the draw brings. Would prefer to avoid Chelsea, Real Madrid , Barcelona , spurs and Napoli. Spartak Moscow, Dortmund and anderlecht would be ideal.

  17. Those screens are brilliant. I feel a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth coming on the morra. Happy Hoopy Days indeed.

Now that the tension has gone we should all relax and just savour whoever we are grouped with.To be were we are with limited resources(excluding fans) is fantastic.

Minimum of 3 big CL nights Celtic style………..where magic happens.

    optimistic csc

  19. Lustig, Tierney, McGregor n Broony…..Broony sais….when we gonna get this…undefeated monkey off our bak….never…..8-4…

  20. Very impressed with Napoli tonight. If you think our novice CHs were bad tonight, you were not watching Dante of Nice.Ex Bayern,Brazil, now Nice.Absolute nightmare of a game.

Was magic to meet you and B in Lisbon in May. I am praying we draw Sporting or Benfica. Would book a week in Lisbon round the match.
