Champions league update Arsenal conceded first a full minute before us.
We score our penalty it’s the proverbial different game, we don’t they punished us. We have competed well enough but we are not in a position to charge forward all gung-ho as we could be absolutely destroyed.
If we lose 10-0 after giving it a go I, for one, will not complain. If after giving it a go we lose 3-2 I will be ecstatic. Basically any score after we have at least given Barcelona a game will make me happy.

Only thing hurting me is the missed penalty.
They are of course at another level to us but we always knew that, we are competing and when we get a chance we are threatening. I’m well pleased with tonight and with where we are in general.
Would love to see us get a goal.
P.S. Lurking Huns 5-1, now Fuck Off.

I can’t get to watch the match . in Amsterdam but had to come to schipol to pick someone at arrivals 4.
Loads of what I assume are turks waiting.
So I don’t recognize any of the names on the board.
As they start to come through. Tears and wailing and much outpouring of emotions.
Plenty of invalids. Old and young. No wealth on show for sure.
I ask a guy where from

I need to go find out what’s the story.
I must be getting saft. I found it quite emotional.
Now Celtic. Score one. And don’t go draft. Just survive.

How come when we’re playing Barca in the Camp Nou, and you know we’re going to get pounded, you forget all logic and start screaming at the tv when one of our players makes a mistake or doesn’t act as cool as a cucumber?
Brendan shouldn’t have played our new right back, but in saying that Paddy and Lustig need to him more protection, but listen we all don’t like getting beat, but we are playing against the best team in the world, time for rogic and Forrest to come on,put jamesy on the right ,and paddy on the left, might as well have give it go,

I’ll have my say tomorrow about the state of European football. The one big positive I’m taking out of this is the fact that Brendan will surely at least eat into the huge gap which exists between us and the gravy train, which will come as a horrible realism for the Huns, some of whom I hope read this.

We are doing reasonably well, you cannot underestimate how difficult this is. Sinclair has been outstanding so far! DDV needs to be alive to the ball in behind, he should be playing as a quasi sweeper.

Here’s the thing….
I have/had no expectation of winning in Barca and conditioned myself to a three or four loss.
Much more interested in how we perform and what we do with the ball.
It is dispiriting we don’t retain possession more often. I’m not expecting ball retention from our box to theirs but a few passes comfortably and confidently made. Too infrequent… disappointingly so.
Some notable individual efforts…SB, SS, Sviat, PR. SB and to a lesser extent SS not only have taken possession and moved things forward but have usually managed to pass and involve another Celtic player.
Don’t think I’d particularly criticise any Celtic player….they are chasing will o’the wisps and mentally it is so so tough. Great learning for the likes of KT who has never faced anything like this.
It’s great we have pace further forward but it is clear we are not so blessed with pace at the back.
Our new full back? Lot if stuff coming through in his side but at this level it would be pointless to draw any conclusions.
Finally….so uncomfortable that we are intimidated by this type of event. Understandable but….

OK with your point of view but it’s not sport as I know it.
Intrigued to know that some football fans are ok with that and are happy to watch the Harlem GT.
UEFA said they would clean it up – maybe FIFA did too.
Now they have to clean out their own stables first.
