   I hope Brendan see’s DDV as a poor keeper and drops him and doesn’t get stubborn and keep him in. Won’t do anyone any favors.

    BR should have played big jack Charlton tactics from the start….i.e. play it long and put ’em under pressure. Charlton knew how to deal with technically gifted teams such as Barca

    CG was making mistakes with alarming regularity last season and was an obvious weak point. Rogers must have good reason to believe Doris is better keeper, can’t see him picking him just for the sake of it. If he doesn’t come good then I’m sure BR will drop him.

    Some of our players are looking for an extra couple of seconds on the ball, you don’t get it at this level.

    Another similarity between Brendan and Big Jock…..both poor at picking goalies. Jock got rid of Ronnie Simpson at Hibs, but “faither” became his best goalie, his other goalie choices were OK, but not great. DDV has never played at a high level, and it shows.

     

    Learning experience now for the players.

     

    Agree with those praising Broonie and Sincs. Gamboa overwhelmed, even KT looks a little desperate….nae wonder considering what they are playing against.

    I know Dorus is Brendan’s guy, but in the games he’s played so far, I’m convinced Craig Gordon would have done better… especially for the first and third goals tonight!
