Have yet to see any evidence in favour of Bitton in the team.
Cant pass forward,zero game or positional sense and brilliant at giving opponents free kicks in dangerous areas.
Also not impressed by De Vries in any game to date.
Looks like he couldn’t stop a beachball and have seen no evidence of his distribution skills.
Hopefully he will settle into side and prove me wrong.
A humbling but perhaps necessary experience for Brendan and the team tonight.

Not sure why anyone is on Brown’s case he did very well tonight.
Brendan has build up a team of players who have had no confidence and and brought in a couple of new ones, This was always on the cards, Barca are Barca.
It’s a lesson and a reality check for us. Sore as it is.

BR has stuck to a rigid 5-4-1 for 70 minutes, can’t see him changing it now. This was a damage limitation exercise from the start. Nothing wrong with the system. Players just aren’t at this level. Not one of our players would get on their bench, never mind in their team.

Their finishing has been deadly.
To put things in perspective.
A three nil defeat would have been a respectable result.
Lots of teams have been battered by barca. Teams more expensive and dare I say talented than ours.
