In his Bookies Corner article for the current issue of CQN Magazine, columnist, Blinkered Views, suggested St Mirren offered good value for a punt on relegation. I spoke to him when he submitted the article and suggested, “Surely Dunfermline?” He agreed Dunfermline were most likely for the drop but they offered no value. St Mirren, on the other hand, were 9/1 for the drop and he made a good case why this was worth a bet.
St Mirren promptly spoiled Christmas for thousands (not your or me) by coming from behind to beat Rangers but that has been their only win in 8 league games. We also don’t need to be reminded that when visiting St Mirren Park, form is a poor guide. Celtic exited the Scottish Cup there a week after beating Saints 7-0 at Celtic Park. They are a team who can raise their game for the big occasion and the visit of Celtic, live on TV, is as big as it gets around Paisley.
Paddy McCourt has enjoyed his visits there and has been key to Celtic collecting the points a couple of times. Don’t be surprised if he makes a match winning appearance from the bench.

bbc underhand tactics to interview our players during their ban
tonights reporting scotland showed what I think may be chris McLaughlin talking to our new signing, before telling the BBC viewers that he could not show the discussion due to being banned by Rangers.
My question is what other underhanded tactics are being performed by pacific quay csc doing to get to the Rangers players.
The club should be making clear that they are not welcome to be seen around any Rangers players outside of matchdays
_____________
maybe they should try this

EO posts. Is that your grade or are you higher up?
St stivs ,
RTC posted James Forrest’s post from here yesterday at 14:59 and it exposed the real feelings of a couple of the bluenoses , particularly Curious Onlooker. Another bluenose , Captain Bob tried to take a more restrained , honest , self-examining stance which led to a few hours of robust discussion .
Eventually RTC stepped in and moderated all the posts in a 5 hour set.
Postscript. Venerable wind-up merchant Awe Naw revealed on here that he was in fact Captain Bob and he was pulling their chain – laugh? , I had to change my incontinence pad

The Friday nite footie quiz based on all things Celtic is about to start.
5 rounds including the picture board and we will of course finish off in style with “Hoops am I?”
Rules are simple. No googling and to score points in any round your first answer must appear before I post the answers. One point awarded for each
correct answer but 2 points for the first person to answer any question correctly.
Only allowed to answer once for each round so make sure you read the question properly and answer all the questions as you can’t come back to
any later.
Everybody welcome to join in.
Good Luck
Round 1 follows shortly
Why is anybody surprised that they arseholes have not put the new boys name on the shirt?
You cant even make the sign of the cross in their midden, something thats done in every ground round the planet.
A hole of a club and support thats about to be flushed down the shitter,a place they will all be at home.
What will the TV and Radio commentators call him?
I only ask because despite a Celtic player of a few years ago having the name ‘Rafael’ on his shirt, they insisted on calling him ‘Scheidt’.
Let’s see if there is any consistency here.
Celtic Soul Brother , allow me to jump in before the quiz
Guys , approx 18 tables gone already , please sign up.

This was the first gameAfter Johnny Thomson’s death at Celtic Park notice the crowd’s solemnity as the Hoops take the field.

Another interesting feature is the fact that the goalkeeper is usually the second player to take the field.
Perhaps the goalie on that sombre occasion was the last to take the field.
