BRENDAN’S EURO GOALDEN BHOYS

CELTIC have scored 57 goals in Brendan Rodgers’ 42 European games in his previous stint as Hoops boss.

The Parkhead side have conceded 63 over the same period which has seen them win 16, lose 18 and draw eight of the encounters.

Three players share top spot with eight goals – Moussa Dembele, Scott Sinclair and Leigh Griffiths.

Next up are two survivors from Rodgers’ previous reign – skipper Callum McGregor and James Forrest – on five strikes each.

French double-act Odsonne Edouard and Olivier Ntcham both claimed four apiece while Tom Rogic and Patrick Roberts hit one fewer.

There were four own goals while defender Mikael Lustig scored the first-ever goal for Rodgers at the beginning of his European odyssey against Lincoln Red Imps after the Parkhead men fired blanks in the remarkable 1-0 loss in the debut outing in Gibraltar in their Champions League qualifier.

The Swedish right-back hit the leveller on aggregate in Glasgow and Roberts and Griffiths claimed the others in a 3-0 victory.

Also on one goal are former captain Scott Brown, Stuart Armstrong, Kristoffer Ajer and Kieran Tierney.

No Celt has celebrated a hat-trick in this arena so far – tonight in Rotterdam would be an ideal place for that sequence to be broken!
