Calm it, Moussa

417

I’m now at the stage when I’m hoping people stop noticing Moussa Dembele. Last night’s two goals for France Unider-21s against their England counterparts further established the player’s reputation. He’s going to be on shopping list of every team with north of £20m to spend.

Great, if you’re struggling to buy out a valued retail partner, not so useful if you’re solvent and aspiring to build a Champions League reputation.

At a conference this week so will miss the AGM tomorrow.

    Something is afoot.

Kieth Jackson on the BBC speaking almost verbatim from Auldheid’s hymn-sheet re: a clear-out of the whole of the SFA and replacement with a Football Board of professionals without links to Clubs and personal agendas.

Or is it just that he reads CQN?

English showing Radar up for the clown he is.

Agree he’s a clown, but he is spouting at the moment – “Clear out the SFA to to bottom – burn the blazers” – which is what most of us would say.

I don’t think this is his own thought process.

to to bottom = top to bottom (or maybe “tutu bottom” – or is that a different line of thought entirely???)

Oh – here we go – “litany of disaster” – Stewart Regan – finally the real target is in the cross-hairs !!!

…as trailed by Phil and others over the past few days.

Regan out – he’s the SFA problem – him gone = problem gone. Fresh start, sweep, sweep, blah, blah….

Jackson is a truly loathsome obnoxious individual. Talks over the top of anyone who challenges him on anything.

I posted yesterday that they wouldn’t be turning the guns on Regan unless they had a more Sevco-minded candidate lined up to replace him.

Sevco are up a certain creek and the paddle is drifting further from the boat every day.

  13. CCE, I understand your doubt of Kill Ultra, I called him out as such (a Hun troll)one evening. PapaJoe55 defended him, stating he knew Kill Ultra. I didn’t really believe either of them. I have since met PapaJoe55 at Celtic Park when we went to a game together. He told me how he knows Kill Ultra, and that Kill Ultra is indeed a Celtic Supporter.

I haven’t met Kill Ultra and still disagree with his stance and approach, but PapaJoe55 is a stand up guy and a good Tim, so I take him at his word. I have no reason to doubt him. Indeed look forward to our next meeting at CP.

Moussa is a fantastic young player – brimming over with potential.

He is at the ideal club at the moment (great, respected club, great coaches, CL exposure, etc. etc.).

He is destined to move on to “better” things…

However, I wonder if professionals like Moussa – like our own HL – would not prefer to ply their trade at a “real” football club, a club with true ethics and the interests of their players at heart ?

Over to you, Moussa ma Bhoy…

Apologies I posted then had to go out. I’d suggest emailing JP again and ask him. If you don’t get a reply let me know please.

  18. GLASSTWOTHIRDSFULL on 15TH NOVEMBER 2016 7:10 PM

Agree. I suspect Reagan has told them to “do one” over the rent at Hampden – either that or he is swithering on giving them a sweetheart deal and Level5 are reminding him who’s boss.

It wouldn’t surprise me to see Gordon Smith back there – or Fraser Wishart.

  19. The SFA’s stance towards the new club hardened earlier this year. No coincidence that Jackson etc have now turned the SEVCO cannons on Hampden.

Regan and indeed Doncaster were placements to see through the switcheroo plan. It would have been more difficult to achieve with so obviously conflicted RRM at the helm.

Now that their worth is diminished and they are increasingly resistant to the demands of maintaining the myth, they are no longer needed.

Was the UEFA letter an accident or was it a warning to the New Club from the SFA delivered via UEFA?

Res12 terrifies the new club more than anything else.

It’s going to be interesting and the prize is control of Scottish football. Will the game get cleaned up – ( drain the swamp!) or will the cheats take back control with RRM running the game?

Regan is toast, hopefully he’ll sing before he goes.

It will be a Celtic PLC statement and it will commit to taking the shareholders concerns forward from here in conjunction with shareholders representatives.

It will acknowledge that questions have been asked of the SFA and UEFA and that concerns still exist despite the replies and the club will continue to work with shareholders to resolve the governance issues concerned. To that end, there will be a further meeting next week and matters will progress from there.

Meeting inquorate so got a free pass to help with more grocery shopping. Hobson’s choice.

    Winning Captain’s post very interesting.

Who are the names on their Appointment Committee, if they decide to replace the conflicted Regan?

Surely rental at Hampden is a decision for Hampden Park plc (Queens Park FC plus SFA placemen. Can anyone name names (courtesy of a very expensive gardener)? HH

Thank you for your kind words about me, I too look forward to meeting you again at Celtic Park.

BRTH and Ernie lynch thank you for your very civilised responses to my pal Kill Ultra ,that was much appreciated by me. As Winning Captain has posted in the past the res 12 guys have had a lot of threats and are very wary of trolls which I fully understand. But once somebody accuses you of being a Hun it is very difficult to prove that you are not as I know to my cost. I again can assure you that Kill Ultra is a Celtic Fan and only wants what is best for Celtic.HH

Reagan and Doncaster cannot be allowed to slope away into the night after the irreparable damage they have done to the game in Scotland.

I have never understood how they have kept their jobs so long.

Of course, they are the front men.

So who are the guys pulling the strings (apart from SDM and others that we know)?

F***, tomorrow’s AGM needs to give us some positive vibes !!!

  24. An Teach Solais on

Wikipedia states that the owner of Hampden Park is Queens Park FC but I seem to recall that QPFC went into administration !!!!! and was rescued by SFA and National Lottery and a quango “The National Stadium” was set up.

Other sources suggest that SFA has a 100 year peppercorn rent over the ground and would determine rental charges.

We live in interesting times. HH
