CELTIC 2023/24 TRANSFER DEALS: FROM HOLM TO IDAH, JOTA TO TURNBULL

0

CELTIC took their total spend in the 2023/24 transfer market to £22million when they brought in Nicolas Kuhn in the winter window that closed at 11.30pm last night.

The German winger cost £3million when he signed a five-and-a-half year deal from Rapid Vienna in the middle of last month.

Midfielder David Turnbull also quit the champions in a permanent £2million switch to English Championship outfit Cardiff City at the same time winger Mikey Johnston agreed a loan move to West Brom until the end of the season.

Australian international flanker Marco Tilio returned to Melbourne City on a temporary contract and will be back at Parkhead in July.

And Norwich City’s Republic of Ireland striker Adam Idah sealed his temporary transfer before the cut-off.

One of the first incomers this term was Norwegian midfielder Odin Thiago Holm who arrived from Valerenga in a £2.25million deal in June.

The biggest transfer of all, of course, was the £25million that whisked fans’ favourite Filipe Jota to megarich Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ittihad in July.

Here are ALL of Celtic’s transfer deals for this campaign.
