CELTIC are involved in a four-team race for former Manchester United whizzkid Adam Berry.

The Hoops recruitment team have been tracking the versatile 17-year-0ld performer who left the Old Trafford outfit earlier this season after spending 12 years at the club as he came through the youth ranks.

Now the England Under-17 international, who doubles as a winger and an attacking midfielder, is in the champions’ sights, but he is also being monitored by top-flight pair Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United as well as Championship Blackburn Rovers.

Berry has left United for game-time elsewhere after stalling in his rapid rise through the ranks where he played for the Under-18 side at the age of 15 in August 2021.

The in-demand teen also had a two-game trial with the Ibrox B team in October, according to the Scottish Sun, but has kept his options open before making a commitment.

The Hoops are now hoping to have a look at Berry in a trial outing before considering their next move.
