FORMER Celtic fans’ favourite Scott Sinclair is preparing to return to the game after FOUR months out in the cold.

The 33-year-old one-time England Under-21 international winger last kicked a ball in anger back in May for Championship side Preston before his contract expired.

Sinclair, who cost £6million from Aston Villa when Brendan Rodgers made him his most expensive signing in August 2016, is training at ex-club Chelsea as he prepares to return to football.

GREAT SCOTT…goalscoring winger Scott Sinclair celebrates another strike for Celtic.

The flamboyant forward, who played his part in Celtic’s Invincible 2016/17 campaign, made over 100 appearances in four years for the Parkhead side and claimed 40 goals.

Former Hamilton Accies boss Alex Neil signed the player for Preston in January 2020 and he is ready for his next move.

Sinclair shared an image of himself building his sharpness up at Chelsea’s training base as he took part in a session.

He captioned the image “Ready for my next move” with an egg timer emoji.

League One Bristol Rovers, one of his former teams, are already showing an interest.
