I nearly fell off my couch earlier when they chanted “F the SFA” After not getting a penalty that wasn’t a penalty

*my road tae Damascus moment with that mob was when I saw a butchers apron with “Culloden” on it, as someone who was there a few years back I couldnae believe that they had supporters up that way until I realised they were celebratin the outlanders victory over the Catholics.

  2. Up like a bird on

2 road rage incidents with them the day is not a coincidence,. they cant control their rage and hatred..

  3. As paul67 said on Friday , Celtics leadership ,fight and ability required…

Well all three were served up on Saturday , let’s carry them on till seasons end…

  5. Every Celtic supporter born in Scotland was born under a Union Jack and because the Zio’s introduced the “diversity trap” through all of they’re puppet infested Western Governments which has cut the steel balls off of Sinn Fein who stupidly rolled about the bed with the utterly boakingly Hun ugly Krankie and like minded fiends then Ireland’s 1000 year long slavery to the Zio slanted Irish economy won’t be ending any time soon or in any of our lifetimes.

    But….there is always hope.

One Western MP, George Galloway, and his Workers Party of Britain, could kick away the first domino of the Zio empire and it might depend on Tims getting over themselves and lending their votes to the only UK Political party who are fully signed up to unfolding Resistance to the Zio empire just go and read their Manifesto, just WOW….James Connolly and his Working Class Comrades might see their dreams come true if you do….manage to get over yourselves and vote for WPB….it could make up for your twice2 in 2017 and 2019 UK General Elections when you joined in with the Zio puppets all smearing and stabbing Jeremy Corbyn in the back…because you all fell for Hun ugly Krankies lies and degeneracy. 👀️

Will it be 3rd time lucky for Palestinian`s and Ireland`s 1000 year long slave trade? 👀️

Or will all seated era Tims put on full display to the watching, praying, begging with tears…its all they have left in the lands of the oppressed people`s of Palestine and Ireland that you couldn`t even fit into the Junglist`s auld dripping in pish stained clothes belonging to the famous Jungle heroes without whom there would have been No Lisbon Lion`s or Jock Stein era 9 in a row, said big Billy millions of times.

Get over yourselves and prove once and for all that…..

Question for any statos but when was the last time anyone was sent off for deliberate handball? Looks like the dodgy red is now their weapon of choice.

    ………………………………………………………………….

I don’t know how often it’s happened this season but it happened earlier in the season at St. Mirren. Sevco struggling. Ryan Strain penalised for hand ball [outwith the posts] and ordered off for denial of goal scoring opportunity – absolute and complete Horlicks of a decision. Today my brother-in-law predicted that Killie would get a penalty against them and a red card in the 60th minute but it actually happened one minute after he made his prediction.

when we win this league let’s laugh at these people and their blatant cheating.

  10. Good morning all Brendan is filling Clements headspace like me with B78 and his loving of our corrupt board.

If we take a step back from the cheating of referees and the SFA for allowing it, what other sport would you get cheated constantly and you would not say a thing (our board).

Win this league and then the clearout should start with our board.

We are in this position because of their unwillingness to replace the quality of Jota, Abadda, Mooy, Giaka and Starfelt to name a few.

All of the stars of the future we signed does any of them actually start, NO.

Let’s beat Der Hun (3-0) on Saturday and have a party weekend but we should not forget why these canute are anywhere near us in the league.

“The 1st nonsensical penalty incident at Poundland, which wasn’t given…..the worry is a SFA qualified referee thought it was a penalty…..let that sink in …”

My worry is that he might have known it wasn’t but thought that “it was worth a punt” and that the pressure of reviewing it in front of 50K he might convince the ref to award it. Fair play to the ref for sticking to his call. As has been pointed out the VAR ref has history that even the “independent” VAR review couldn’t gloss over.

I was told on the bus coming back from the Hearts game about the ex EPL ref being looked at for our head of refs. I’ve forgotten the name already but when I heard it at the time I had a vague memory of him apparently once being accused/caught (pre-VAR) asking his fourth official to check the TV broadcast when making a call. I could of course be getting that completely wrong as I did read an article on the guys history in the EPL and this was not contained in the list of key incidents but I did find a reference to it though on Wikipedia or similar so my memory might actually not be playing tricks on me!

If it is accurate and given process is key to VAR (and officiating in general) and the head of refs is to oversee these processes then it’s worrying that the SFA are considering someone who seemingly doesn’t give a Castlemaine XXXX for process.

The red card at Ibrox was the right decision because the hand-ball stopped the ball going over the line.

If a hand-ball prevents a sure goal, a red card is shown, whether accidental or not.

Not sure I agree with that if it’s not deliberate but it’s in the rules.

    …………..

Cheers mate, but don’t forget that I also backed the Straight Forecast.

It paid £125.00 for a One Pound Stake.

    Not too shabby….However….

I managed to give the Bookies some of the money back yesterday ( Sunday ), apart from One ” C.APPLEBY” Winner, his other Horses didnt run too well.

I was left also cursing Liverpool and Spurs, as I had Liverpool to win 4 – 1….the game finished 4 – 2 with Spurs scoring a 2nd Goal late on.

    LOL

    Cheers SCANIEL Mate.

“The red card at Ibrox was the right decision because the hand-ball stopped the ball going over the line.”

    Agree.

Even the sevco player initially offside in the middle cannot be reason not to award it unless he impeded a Killie player in trying to defend as once the diver collects the ball, mis controls it then plays in on, the player is then onside again I believe as we see often with Kyogo who likes to hang offside when a ball is played down the wing to then keep level/behind the ball for a cutback.

It would be interesting to see the similar incident mentioned on these pages (CCV attempt?) again; I cannot recall this of the top of my head.

Have the rules changed since the 16th March ? CCV had a goal stopped by Saints player arm. That was play on…

Well if it was “play on” the ref obviously didn’t give the penalty so you have answered your own question.

This is where Celtic should be weaponising VAR against refs and the SFA where there is such inconsistency. You could explain it as “honest mistakes” in real time but if intent / proximity are not a defence then it would be fair to (preferably publicly before the next game) ask why one and not the other?!

  26. Celtic v Huns 1977 Scottish Cup Final….

WHY wasnt Derek Johnstone SENT AFF for his deliberate Hand Ball on the Huns Goal Line, which prevented a clear Celtic Goal. Celtic got the Penalty with Andy Lynch scoring the only Goal of the game.

Johnstone ONLY used his TWO Hands to SCOOP the Ball away….but he and some of his Hun team mates STILL argued with the Ref IF memory serves my correctly ?

Was DELIBERATE HAND BALL in the Penalty Area, and preventing a Goal NOT in the Rules back then as a SENDING AFF OFFENCE ?

    HH.

  27. Tom McLaughlin on

Although we can’t officially win the league next Saturday, a victory leaves us needing just 1 point from our last 2 games, so we can celebrate like champions.

    Can’t wait.

  28. Well if it was “play on” the ref obviously didn’t give the penalty so you have answered your own question.

My question was, had the rule changed ? Any thoughts ?

  29. Tom McLaughlin on

    BIG JIMMY

A sending off for a goal-preventing hand ball wasn’t a red card back then.

Also, when Johnstone handled the ball, his two knees were between the ball and the goal, which begs the question — why do it?

I believe he panicked and was trying to gain control of the ball in a dangerous area rather than stopping it from going over the line.
