  1. One wonders if Derek will have something to say about the officials , or will be just take it on the chin ?

The fouls before the third goal were clear and obvious errors. Where is VAR when it applies to them?

McInness scribbling on his notepad how things have went against his side…..happy with 3-1.

It’s a good ball by Matty Kennedy but Corrie Ndaba heads over under pressure from Mohamed Diomande.

For the first time in the half, Kilmarnock get a decent bit of ball.

It ends with Liam Donnelly striking low into the arms of Jack Butland.

I’ve lost count of the amount of times Rangers have worked a corner out to John Lundstram on the edge of the box.

They’ve done it again and this shot is over.

There are around 20 minutes left, and Rangers have a 3-1 lead against the 10 men of Kilmarnock.

As things stand, Celtic’s goal difference is six better off. Could Rangers put a dent in that against the tiring visitors here at Ibrox?

Its the hope that kills them.

  7. THE LONG WAIT IS OVER on 5TH MAY 2024 2:21 PM

One of the many, many things I despise about that mob is the way they claim for anything, no matter how unjustified the claim

    ………..

The Hun mob have been like that for as long as can remember.

They are NOT interested in ” Playing to the Rules” ON and OFF the Park, but they want the Rules to be in their favour.

In the 1st half Today, the REF got in the way of a Killie player who fell down, the Ref tries to restart the game with a DROP Ball to Killie ( Correct decision) only for Dessers ( I think ?) to play the Drop Ball FIRST, so the Ref grabbed the ball and tried again……only for that Cheatin CHUMP CANTWELL, to intervene and like Dessers, he played the Ball FIRST, when it is supposed to be Killlies ” Ball”.

CANTWELL then argues with the Ref, who is clearly telling him the Feckin Rules, and also a couple of Killie players have their say towards Cantwell.

It was ONLY at the THIRD attempt was the Ref able to drop the Ball, to allow a Killie player to kick it up the Park.

The Ref SHOULD have BOOKED BOTH Dessers and Cantwell for being THICK CHEATIN CHUMPS !

i just cannot allow my grown up self to conclude that Naismith is a bigot for telling the bus to go without the japanese players, that is some stretch to arrive at that.

    if it ever really happened.

much more likely they asked permission to hang around with their countrymen after the game and were granted approval.

i do know our player at saint mirren has met them often.

  13. Steven Kirkland, today’s VAR official ,was criticised earlier this season over a clear error in not pointing out a McAusland dive to gain Rangers a penalty v Livingstone. It makes one wonder why he was on VAR today; or does it?

  14. Melvin Udall on

The fix is most definitely in regarding the Huns and their pals at the SFA.

A bit more worried about next week now, given the lengths they’re willing to go to to get them results.

We should be too much for them, as they’re pish, but do worry a red card for us and a penalty for them, like st Tynecastle could make out lives very difficult.

It’s clear that whatever the club have said to them or threatened them with, has had absolutely no effect! 😳🤷🏼‍♂️😣

  15. DM says it’s harsh but rules are the rules. Doesn’t seem too bothered

  16. My Horses have NOT run well Today…so far.

The ONLY Winning Bet so far Today is the Huns beating Killie by 4 – 1.

I put that Bet on a couple of days ago at odds of 12/1.

All the same….Feck you Sevco…we’re gonna win the League.

    MON the HOOPS.

    LOL

“I hear yesterday they’re going to have fun…we’re going to have fun also”.

    green brigade banners ready

  18. A few weeks back, with game level, CCV had a goal denied on the line by the arm of an opponent. The result – play on, not deliberate.

Today at 0-1 down, they have a goal denied by the arm of an opponent on the line. The result- penalty and red card. 3 points handed to them.

We simply have to move heaven and earth to get VAR scrapped. It simply will not be used fairly in Scotland and will assist the Huns for years to come.

  19. Credit Kilmarnock for effort today. Greet effort given what they were up against. It won’t be easy for us going there next week.

  20. My problem for next week is their tactics.Punts into the box,at every opportunity.Mc Innes even commented on it today. One lapse like the Killie defender had,is all it takes.

If that VAR disgrace today is anything to go by,I am worried. They dont care how blatant it is.

Vlad, furious.Don’t think he has ever hard fun in his life.

A win next week, the sweetest thing.

  21. Weebobbycollins on

An Dun…let’s wait and see if Jon Moss is a goer. It’s interesting that the sfa are considering an Englishman for the top job. Perhaps Celtic have leaned so heavily on them about the obvious bias in our game they have decided to do something about it. It’s also a possibility that the hun have pissed them off too often with

    unwarranted complaints about the referees.

  22. An Dun,

While I am no fan of VAR, I doubt the cheating will change. Yesterday, all the officials seemingly missed Shankland’s handball and he didn’t get the second yellow even after VAR intervened. I have serious concerns at how we will be reffed next Saturday.

For many a year, I have felt we needed to leave this league. They no longer even try to hide the cheating.

  23. A couple of good things this weekend

Davies and Silva might well start next week for thems.

Clancy will not ref next week

Kirkland will not be var next week.

Kirkland was VAR when McCausland went down v Livingston…pen given. His club…,yes got it in one.If you look at the dive from the irishman on YouTube it is EMBARRASSING.Silva was impressed !!!

  25. glendalystonsils on

A red card is like silver , but an early red card is like gold in the ‘pattern of assistance’ stakes . It guarantees the benefitting team the best chance of 3 points…. . see Yang at Tynecastle or the Killie player today . What referee is going to pass up a chance like that ?

  26. As good as we are and as superior as I believe we are – one red card next week and this league is turned on its head.
