  1. Get the feeling that the Ibrox mob need to keep the Old Firm crap going with help from Scottish media. Wish Celtic could kill off the OF thing with a simple statement that the team from Ibrox are a new club to Scottish football, as the SFA can confirm.

Am sure his pal will be delighted with wee Lucy Verasamy saying we will have a mild start to 2018 :-)

    True.

I think when the fixtures came out he was delighted.

Two Sat home games in a week v Dons and Sevco and no fixtures for him.

He buys his season ticket and actually attends very few games.

Training Mon and Wed, so he really only makes Tues, Sun and of course if any of his games are postponed.

    Hail Hail

Well said, Armstrong was imperious today, galloping along leaving short arsed Aberdonians in his gloriously well coiffured wake. That’s enough man-love for now. He was ably assisted by his two midfield companions to be fair.

The good football day was compounded by Barca rubbing up the Madrilenos in their own back yard and Killie handing out another reality sandwich ,along with nice pies ,to the foul mouthed Orcs.

I have some mulled cider to prepare now, perhaps a large one for myself is in order later on.

    Take care everyone. HH

  7. Gerryfaethebrig.

    You are correct.

I should have typed I’m in a very small minority.

    I’m confusing myself now :-))

Not giving the season ticket letter many more oxygen but I know many season ticket holders that rarely attend every game, family stuff, work and other obstacles before we even hit the weather, as you also posted earlier our fans from further afield do some shift…. when I was a kid just getting in the ground was a success never mind the result or who we were playing but the older and less wiser I am I still feel getting in the ground would be a success :-)

  10. thought we were excellent today, especially Armstrong, Broon, Moussa, and Ntcham (my motm).

Plus marks to Ajer and Hayes as well.

Dons – a wee bit unlucky, – very robust style of play, notably lacking against Sevco.

    hmmm.

    GERRYFAETHEBRIG,

Much as we’re all desperate for Owen to do well, I’m afraid the jury’s still out.

Last I heard he’s good for togtherness, but tactics aren’t clear.

So, still at fingers crossed stage.

No sure who asked me, maybe yersel, but end of season before last, on here someone asked what my expetations were for the next season.

We’d done well and got a top six finish.

My answer was, and always will be.

    1. Survival

    2. Top 6 finish.

    3. A decent run in a cup.

We won the League cup the following season.

  12. Great result today for the Bhoys.

Nothing better than spending Christmas with your 1st loves knowing your 2nd love is top of the league.

Anyway, my best pal through school went to Oxford Uni aged 16 ( might have been 17 ) and now makes millions working in finance- cleverest guy I have ever known- and he said 2 interesting things to me regarding Sevco’s shares—

    1. IF the shares were properly valued, they would be worth 10p ( TEN PENCE ).

    2. IF King can put £11m in an account ( by hook or crook ) and offer 20p the uptake would be over 60%.

    HH

  13. Can never say enough about Broony.Absolute diamond.

Gary 67,you could very well be right about Ajer.Has it all.

    Very delighted tonight.

  14. Cheers Gerry, CorkCelt and Jimmy. It’s a quiet night in Glasgow for us tonight, wee nephew is with us and early flight home tomorrow to Dublin.

Just read an interesting stat there on Twitter – Celtic had the second highest attendance, after El Classico, in Europe today. Well done to all Tims.

Cheers for the reply, am I genuinely interested regarding Owen Coyle, obviously a Celtic fan but as a Scottish football fan we have Owen, Stevie Clarke, Neil Lennon & Brendan all managers who have managed down south, sometimes I wish our journalists would concentrate on the good points of Scottish football, hope you get your top 6 and we beat you in the Scottish cup final :-)

    Evening all.

Thoroughly enjoyed the game today. A job well done.

Interesting comments about the DR match report.

It should, of course, be pointed out, that the target audience of the report is the blue constituency.

Timmy was lucky, could’ve gone either way, the gap isn’t huge, The Old Firm ying and yang alive and well, we didn’t hide the truth about R****ERS perilous state, Buy us please.

Ron Bacardi – agree with you. The announcer today mentioned them by name just to get a cheap laugh. Poor stuff IMO.

    Hail hail

  17. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Nally81 – interesting comments.

I’d respectfully suggest your friend’s valuation of the shares is 5-7 pence to high ( given the debt exposure to the directors and the advent of a debt for equity swap).

    Hail hail

I don’t disagree but I actually think Stevie Clarke is the 2nd best manager in Scotland :-) and that opinion was formed before December’17 :-)

Who is better in Ayrshire ?

By the way I wish we had signed Stevie Clarke when he was at St Mirren, good back up for Chrissy Morris in “our” Centenary season :-)
