Worry about the Hoops in the 80’s

We live in terrific Celtic times

    Hail Hail

  2. Gerryfaethebrig,

Johnny Hayes deserves to start next week against the Newco.

    Brendan is the Man.

Scottie Sincs, to me, is lacking confidence at this Moment in Time…. Johnny is starting to show it.

Broonie Disnae have to move much,,,,,,,,,,,,……… when you read the game well, as long as you have Excellent team m8s.

  4. 50 shades of green on

    Morning Tims.

    Good display yesterday.

Second half Broonie dropped between the 2 centre backs when they had possession,at the same time our Dubliner came inside instead of wide right and the sheep were lost.

When big Dedryck won a tackle as the sheep looked dangerous it was good to see our cpt go over 2 him and praise him, he grew in confidence from there after having a rather dodgy end to the first half. Was a decent game although the sheep were out for blood at the start enabled by Thompshun.

Chant of the day ” Everybody’s beating the huns but you “. Directed at a few lost sheep at the end.

  5. Good morning CQN from a cool, clear and dry East Devon.

Good result yesterday, thanks for updates and links, don’t know what I would do without you ghuys, listen to BBC shortbread? Heaven forbid.

    Hail! Hail!

  6. ” Rangers chairman Dave King is to appeal against a Court of Session ruling ordering him to make a share offer totalling around £11m.

Lord Bannatyne ruled in favour of the Takeover Panel that King acted in concert with other shareholders when he bought a controlling stage in 2015.

King was ordered to offer investors 20p per share for the share capital not controlled by him and three partners. ”

I thought Friday`s ruling was final. No ?

    JJ

He now intends to challenge that ruling, though.

  7. Good morning friends and a Big Happy Christmas Eve from a disappointingly grey and blustery East Kilbride.

  8. Good preformance yesterday, enjoyed the game. However that does not mean our squad does not need reduced to allow for better quality players and to open up space for our best academy kids.

Dont think we should be spending between 30 and 40 million on a new south stand when half that amount could pay for the proposed hotel, superstore and museum which would be far more profitable.

Would like to see the south stand developed in 3 phases. Start on south west corner double teir in line with larger stands.

In lower level stand alter layout to substancially increase evelated platforms/ access for disabled people and other facilities i.e toileting, eateries etc which can be accessed via south stand.

On complesion do same again on south east corner.

Final phase would see increased width to the main stand sitting further back than the rest of the stands to add greater floor space, modern frontaged to replace red brick. Keep currant hight but developed new slopping roof with unrestricted viewing supports and remove supporting beams.

Bring the larger screen televisions of the roof and locate in upped east and west stand

Modernise and updated internal space in south stand

Replace larger screen on roof with hearted and add a couples of alonge north and south roofs.

Add greenlees lighting inside the stadium

Moved all offices/ gym out of the stadium and have over space to supporters

Oh and let not forget the parking needs sorted big time

And barrowfield training centre should be redevelpoed to include significant parking, for match days, a stand i.e similiar to hockey stand in glasgow green for the women and under-21 games. The remainder pitches are then for the academy/ youth team players all of which should be name after the lions who trained there.

    Not wanting much

  9. Stephbhoy you could be in the running for the development contract!!! Heading back to Stornoway in 3 hours after a pleasant and successful two days. Many thanks to ACGR and his son for being great company yesterday, BRTH and Heaven67 – enjoy. Finally may I wish all CQNrs and Celtic fans a very Merry Christmas and another 6 points by the years end. Hail Hail Hebcelt

Sorry to be rude but can I just barge in front of you and request hot water taps in the toilets and maybe a replenishment of paper towels for half time?

I wonder whose request will be considered first by the Board? :-)

Seriously, it’s ridiculous that we spend all the money on the Celtic Way, talk about hotels and museums and yet on match day you have to wash your hands with freezing cold water. How unhygenic is that????

Good luck with your list, mind you!

  11. Billy bhoy i dont think i will even see it all done in my life time but it is christmas and my santa list ;-)

  12. The only Celtic worry I have this Christmas is about Leigh Griffiths,

We will not be able to keep Dembele long term and indeed whilst I expect him to see out season, I wouldn’t be totally shocked if he went this break.

Griff is an outstanding player who at 27yrs of age has plenty of football left in him, he is Scottish & one you would hope would be happy to stay long term at the Club. I sincerely hope rumours of trouble are unfounded and he is back banging in goals for us asap.

  13. Corkcelt

Like you I fear Leigh is a goner, absolutely chucking it down in ML5 hope this time next year I don’t leave my Christmas shopping for the good lady until Christmas Eve !!!!
